Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response provides a basic overview of the data, but it lacks the analytical depth required for a higher band. While you identified the main trends, the description of the data is often inaccurate or confusing (e.g., stating 'working had higher time spent' is vague). You successfully selected key features, such as the increase in working hours and the decrease in sleeping time, but the comparison between the two years is underdeveloped. To improve, ensure you clearly contrast the data points rather than just listing percentages, and avoid confusing terminology like 'working young' when referring to the population.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is mechanical and sometimes inaccurate, such as the abrupt transition 'Eventually' to introduce the final point. There is also a lack of logical flow between sentences; for instance, the jump between describing working hours and sleeping hours feels disjointed. Referencing is occasionally unclear, making it difficult to track which group or year is being discussed. Improving the use of linking words like 'consequently', 'in contrast', or 'meanwhile' would significantly enhance the flow.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

Your vocabulary is limited and contains several errors that impede clarity. Phrases like 'working young in a individuals country' are awkward and grammatically incorrect. You rely on basic descriptors and struggle with collocations, such as 'lowest activities that young people were done'. While you are able to convey the basic meaning, the lack of precision and the repetitive use of simple structures prevent a higher score. You should focus on learning topic-specific vocabulary related to data trends, such as 'proportion', 'fluctuated', 'remained stable', and 'accounted for'.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response contains frequent grammatical errors that often distract the reader. There are issues with subject-verb agreement ('the working had higher time', 'sleeping was the second highest... were people interested'), article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are fragmented or poorly constructed, such as 'Youth are were going out friends or family with 19%'. While you attempt to use some complex structures, they are often faulty. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, ensuring correct verb tenses, and proofreading for small errors like missing prepositions.
