The pie charts below show how working adults in a particular country spent their time in 1958 and 2008.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

This pie chart illustrates the comparison of time spending by adults in 1958 and 2008. In 1958, adults do working most of the day and having a 32% of sleep. They only took 2% of their time in travelling to work, also spend time with there family and friends. They also done relaxing at home some of the time. In 2008, adults used to work more and having a less sleep. Going out for less time with family and friends. Main thing to compare is that the working time of the adults of 1958 and 2008 had much changed, as in 1958 adults do less work and be on time but in 2008 the adults wasted there time in other activities such as relaxing and sleeping. So the routine had much affected by the time. The one more main thing to compare is the ratio of time spend with family and friends has affected, as in 2008 time spend with family is less as compared to the time in 1958.
