The given pie charts provide data on how working adults in a specific country, spent their day in 1958 and 2008.
Overall, they spent highest proportion of their day at work. In contrast, travelling to work take less time in past compared with 2008.

Drawing attention to the rest of data, ratio of going out with family and friends decreased dramaticaly from 19% to only 6% in 2008 whereas the ratio of playing sports remaind same at 7% in both time period.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You identify several important patterns, including the rise in working time from 33% to 42%, the fall in sleeping from 32% to 25%, and the sharp decline in socialising from 19% to 6%. The overview also notes that commuting took a smaller share in 1958 than in 2008. However, the overview is incomplete: work was the largest category in both years, but not the highest in 1958, when working and sleeping were almost equal. There are also factual inaccuracies: sports is shown only for 2008, at 7%, not as unchanged across both years, and the 2008 commuting figure of 7% is omitted. A clearer overview and more accurate selection of comparisons would make the summary more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, an overview, and two paragraphs presenting details. The sequence from work and sleep to home relaxation and social activities is generally easy to follow, and phrases such as “Overall” and “Drawing attention to the rest of data” signal transitions. However, some linking is mechanical, and the final paragraph groups sports with socialising without clearly distinguishing that sports appears only in 2008. The sentence beginning “To start with” also contains several comparisons in quick succession, making the information feel crowded. Use clearer topic sentences and organise the figures into more deliberate comparisons between the two years; this would improve progression and cohesion.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use a reasonable range of task-related vocabulary, including “proportion,” “decreased,” “increased,” and “reduced sharply,” which helps communicate the main trends. Some less common choices are attempted, but several are inaccurate or awkward: “spent highest proportion,” “ratio of going out,” and “prefer spenting” do not express the data naturally. There are also spelling errors such as “dramaticaly” and “remaind.” These do not prevent the reader from understanding the general message, but they reduce precision and control. Prefer standard chart language such as “accounted for,” “share,” and “rose/fell,” and check spelling and word forms before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including comparisons with “whereas” and clauses describing changes over time. The main meaning is usually clear, but some grammatical errors remain. For example, “travelling to work take less time” has incorrect subject–verb agreement and tense, while “people spent almost equal time at working and sleeping” uses an incorrect grammatical pattern. The sentence beginning “Whereas” is also joined awkwardly to the preceding clause, and missing spaces after full stops make boundaries unclear. Work on accurate verb forms, articles and sentence punctuation, and separate contrasting clauses cleanly. More consistent control would make your comparisons easier to read.
