The pie charts illustrate the distibution how working adults in a particular country spent their time in 1958 and 2008.

On the one hand,in 1958 working accounts for 33 percentage, but when we look into 2008 its incresed to 42 percentage. Although in 1958 sleeping percentage is prety good. However in 2008 it falls 25 percentage . After that in 2008 some adults spent their 13 percentage of the time for relaxing at home, but in 1958 comparatevly its less percentage of relaxing at home

In 1958 their are 19 percentage of the adults spent there valulable time with their famliy and friends. Having said that,in 2008 its got decresed to only 6 percentage. So if we look on the pie chats playing sports has the balance percentage in both pie charts.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You identify several relevant changes, including working rising from 33% to 42%, sleeping falling to 25%, and time with friends and family dropping from 19% to 6%. However, the response lacks a clear overview of the main patterns, and some details are incomplete: relaxing at home is compared without giving its 8% figure for 1958, while travelling is left unfinished. The claim that sports has the same share in both charts is inaccurate; it appears only in 2008, at 7%. The response also falls one word short of the 150-word minimum; 14 words copied from the task prompt were excluded from the count. Add a concise overview and report the key comparisons accurately.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has some paragraphing and attempts to group related comparisons: work, sleep and relaxing are discussed first, followed by socialising, sports and travel. This gives the reader a basic sense of organisation. However, there is no clear overall progression from an overview to supporting details, and the opening linkers “On the one hand” and “Having said that” do not express the relationships between the data accurately. Several sentences run together or end abruptly, especially the final sentence, which stops at “7 percentage of t”. Use a clear overview paragraph, then organise the remaining figures into logical groups, with complete sentences and more precise linking.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some task-relevant vocabulary, such as “accounts for,” “falls,” “relaxing at home,” and “travelling to work,” so the topic is generally recognisable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, including “33 percentage,” “sleeping percentage is pretty good,” and “spent their valuable time with their family and friends.” Repeated use of “percentage” also makes the description awkward. Spelling errors such as “distibution,” “incresed,” “famliy,” and “traveillng” further reduce clarity. Aim for standard chart language and accurate forms, for example “accounted for 33%” and “the proportion of time spent sleeping.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a contrast with “Although” and a conditional-style phrase beginning “if we look.” However, complex structures are often faulty or incomplete, and errors occur frequently enough to make parts difficult to follow. For example, “The pie charts illustrate the distibution how…” is missing a grammatical link, while “in 1958 their are 19 percentage” has problems with the verb and sentence construction. The final sentence is incomplete, and punctuation spacing is inconsistent. Practise forming complete comparison sentences with accurate subjects and verbs, such as “The proportion rose from 2% in 1958 to 7% in 2008,” and check each sentence for a clear ending.
