In this illustration shows the ratio of adults in different parts that spent their time in two dofferent years 1958 and 2008.

In the first grap 1958 showing five different parts. In 1958 19% adults which going out with friends or family. Only 2% adults travelling to work. 32% adults sleeping. 8% adults relexing at home and 33% adults working in 1958.

In 2008 in 2nd graph comes very big changes only 6% adults avilable thats going out with friends or family. The adults which travelling to work increased 5%. the adults which sleepint decreased 7% and 25% adults avilable thats sleeping. In 2008 13% adults which relaxing at home and 42% adults thats go to working.

I explain difference between to illustration in 1958 19% adults which going out with friends or family but 2008 it decreased 13%. In 1958 2% adults which travelling to work but in 2008 it increased 5%. In 1958 32% adults sleeping but 2008 it decreased 7% because the adults have many family responsibilites. In 1958 8% adults relaxing at home but 2008 it increased 5% and in 1958 33% adults which go to working but in 2008 it increased 9% and in 2008 42% adults go to working.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You report most of the chart’s main figures accurately, including the rise in working from 33% to 42%, the fall in sleeping from 32% to 25%, and the changes in travel and socialising. However, the response is mainly a list of figures rather than a clear summary of the most important features. The opening does not provide a meaningful overview, and the final statement that there were “very changes” is too vague to identify the overall pattern. You also add an unsupported explanation that sleeping fell “because the adults have many family responsibilities”; the charts give no reason for the change. State the key trends directly, then select a few comparisons to support them.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a basic sequence: it describes 1958, then 2008, and then compares the years. This gives the reader some organisation, and repeated references to the years help identify which chart is being discussed. However, the progression is weakened by repetition: the final paragraph restates several figures already given, such as the changes in working and travelling. Linking is often mechanical, with repeated “In 1958” and “but in 2008,” while phrases such as “In the first grap” and “in 2nd graph comes very big changes” do not create clear transitions. Use a concise overview followed by grouped comparisons, and make each paragraph serve a distinct purpose.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

Your vocabulary is basic and repetitive, relying heavily on “adults,” “increased,” “decreased,” and “in 1958/in 2008.” Some chart-related terms are relevant, such as “travelling to work” and “relaxing at home,” but several expressions are inaccurate or unclear: “ratio” is not the best term for percentages, and “adults available thats going out” does not clearly describe the data. Spelling errors, including “dofferent,” “relexing,” “avilable,” and “responsibilites,” also reduce accuracy. Build a small range of precise reporting language, such as “accounted for,” “rose from,” and “fell to,” and check spelling and word forms carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The response relies mostly on short, simple statements, and many sentences are incomplete or have faulty clause structure. For example, “In this illustration shows the ratio…” lacks a clear grammatical subject, while “In 1958 19% adults which going out…” is missing both an article and a correctly formed verb. Tense and agreement are also inconsistent, as in “1958 showing” and “the adults which sleepint decreased.” These errors frequently make the sentences awkward and sometimes slow understanding, although the intended figures are often recoverable. Practise complete comparison sentences with accurate past-tense verbs—for example, “The proportion travelling to work rose from 2% in 1958 to 7% in 2008”—and use articles and relative clauses correctly.
