Student answer (Band 5.0)
It has been observed in several countries that students are not taking science faculty at university
graduation educatiomn. In this essay we will discuss about the major reason behind that and negative impacts it has bring in society.
One curical factor that should be consider as main causes, spreading of wrong rumors and negativity in the society and collages as well by their relatives or family because the students who are hearing the science stream is tough than we think from the childhood in schools or by their parents and relatives, they do not dare to take in their further studies, which leads low confidence and self belief. For instance, from my own expweience i also suffer and heared this types of negativity and rumors around my village and in collage and i was also scared to take science faculty in my bachlor level in university so , these are the main factor causing it.
There are several effects which is contributed by these things like the coming generation or the juniors students from the society are feeling more pressure by the rumors of the people which is leading mental toucher towards the sytudents.Aditionally parents are comparing their children with neighbours children in the contex of whose child is more talented in study and judging in wrong way .Consequently it effects the society very badly and also in the development od society in a mutual understanding way.
In a nutshell,in our society there are many things which lead to not take science stream at their university so, in order to remove and for further remedies our parents, schools and collages must needed the some type of awareness program.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both parts of the question by identifying social discouragement as a cause and discussing pressure on students and effects on society. The personal example about being discouraged from studying science helps make the cause relevant. However, the response develops only one main cause, and the effects are stated broadly: phrases such as “mental toucher” and “effects the society very badly” do not explain clearly what changes in society result. The conclusion shifts to recommending awareness programmes rather than summarising the causes and effects. To strengthen the response, explain more precisely how discouragement reduces science enrolment and what consequences this has, such as fewer skilled professionals or slower technological progress, supporting each point with a clear example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, a paragraph on causes, a paragraph on effects, and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “For instance,” “Additionally,” and “Consequently” show an effort to connect ideas. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow because several points are joined into long sentences, and the relationship between ideas is not always clear. For example, the effects paragraph moves from pressure on younger students to parental comparisons and then to society’s development without explaining the links. Some transitions, including “In a nutshell,” introduce a conclusion that mainly offers a recommendation. Use clearer topic sentences and separate each cause or effect into a distinct, logically developed point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “negativity,” “self belief,” “pressure,” and “awareness program,” and the personal example gives the response a clear context. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate or unclear word choices make meaning difficult to understand. For instance, “mental toucher” appears to mean mental torture or distress, while “science faculty” and “graduation education” do not express the intended idea naturally. Spelling errors such as “curical,” “expweience,” and “sytudents” also reduce clarity. Build a more precise set of topic vocabulary and check collocations and spelling; for example, use “study science at university,” “discouraging rumours,” and “mental stress.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt some complex sentences, particularly when explaining how comments from family members affect students, and you use a range of basic sentence forms. However, complex structures are often faulty, and frequent errors can make the reader work to understand the message. Examples include “One curical factor that should be consider as main causes” and “which is contributed by these things,” where verb forms and sentence construction are not controlled. There are also problems with articles, agreement, and punctuation, as in “students are not taking science faculty” and the run-on sentence beginning “because the students who are hearing.” Aim first for accurate, complete sentences, then connect them with subordinate clauses. Review subject–verb agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence boundaries.
