Student answer (Band 5.0)
Most of the countries in the world lack of equipment and facilities of education. So many students are not choose to study in science.
To begin with, most countries in the world where lack of equipment for science practical and experiments. Many universities cannot afford these things but we learn and science proper just with practically. So, we need modern equipment for physically experiments. Many students wants to study science but universities not give them proper enviornment and material. If any university fullfill this criteria where the tuition fee and other expenses very huge amount. Students not afford the criteria. For example, if we talk about Pakistan, many universities open admission in science dapartment but in labs not proper equipment for searching. Firstly, every country to want a create good enviorment and complete all material about science study. After that got a admission fully free so, many students avail this chance and carry on these study in science subjects.
Moreover, if government not action against this then bad effect on society. We know very well this era is totally based on technology every where use modern technology. If government notice this than every country become a successful in science field. Many students are very genius but they cannot afford this cost. So, every government university want to education free for intelligent students.
In conclusion, if we not stop this and and encourage to students for science study than its very harmful for society and also on our life.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You address both causes and effects, and the lack of laboratory equipment and the cost of tuition are relevant causes. The Pakistan example also gives the discussion a specific context. However, the effects are only briefly stated: you mention that society may be harmed and that technology is important, but do not explain clearly how fewer science graduates affect areas such as healthcare, research, or economic development. Several points repeat the need for government action rather than developing distinct reasons and consequences. The response also falls two words short of the required minimum. To strengthen the answer, explain each effect with a clear cause-and-result link and support it with a relevant example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a basic paragraph structure, with an opening, a paragraph focused mainly on causes, a paragraph on effects, and a conclusion. Linking phrases such as “To begin with,” “Moreover,” and “In conclusion” help signal these stages. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear: the first body paragraph moves from equipment to fees, then to Pakistan and free admission without clearly separating or connecting these points. Some transitions are mechanical, and repeated references to government action do not create a clear sequence of developed ideas. Use one main point per paragraph, connect each explanation directly to that point, and make references such as “this” or “these things” more specific.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “equipment,” “experiments,” “tuition fee,” “technology,” and “science field,” so the reader can identify the subject of your argument. However, the range is limited and several phrases are inaccurate or unnatural, which sometimes makes the meaning harder to follow. For example, “lack of equipment for science practical” and “proper environment and material” need more precise phrasing, while “carry on these study” is not an appropriate collocation. Spelling errors such as “enviornment,” “fullfill,” and “dapartment” also reduce accuracy. Build a bank of natural academic phrases for discussing university access, research facilities, and social consequences, and check spelling carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences with clauses, for example, “Many students are very genius but they cannot afford this cost.” This shows an effort to connect ideas, but the range remains limited and complex sentences are often faulty. Errors in verb forms and agreement occur in phrases such as “students are not choose,” “Many students wants,” and “universities not give them.” Sentence construction is also unclear in “most countries in the world where lack of equipment,” and the final sentence contains a repeated “and.” These errors sometimes make the reader work to understand your meaning. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and complete sentence patterns before adding more complex clauses.
