Student answer (Band 4.5)
In the several nations less students are selecting to learn science in the university.
In these days sevral students wants to study science at university but not enugh. There are many reasonse behaind it but in my opinion they should study science at the university.
In my opinion there are many reason and causes of not studing science becuse in the future science will be the top subject is compare to other subjects. If the students do not study science at university they will be not able to learn about medical feild they will be not aware from other familir things. And in the future the socitey will be need those people who knows something about science. If we see nowadays the society need nerses and other people who' related to science and if they don't study science we will be not found nerses and other people who's related to science like scientist and other good science teacher.
The causes of this issue isn't a big problem students are just thinking that science is a though subject but actually it's not a difficult lesson it a interasting and usefull for them.Another reason of not studying science in university the marit list is also high for science subjects and student are not able to take addmision in science.
Mostly students wants to study easy subjects and get degree from university and to get high grades and that subjects becuse they are thinking if they take addmision in science they will not able to get high marks.
Nowadays students should focused studying on science becuse it will be very usefull for them in the future and they will secure thier future in science as compare to other fields.becuse science is future.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You identify several relevant causes, including students viewing science as difficult, preferring subjects they expect to earn higher grades in, and facing high admission requirements. You also mention possible social effects, such as shortages of nurses, scientists, and science teachers. However, the response only partially answers the task: the causes receive more attention than the effects, and the effects are mostly listed rather than explained with examples or consequences. Your opening says students should study science, but this position does not directly answer the question about causes and effects. Develop each main point by explaining how it leads to fewer science graduates and what this means for society, such as reduced healthcare capacity or slower technological progress.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
The response has separate paragraphs and there is a broad movement from an introduction to causes and then a concluding recommendation. However, the overall progression is difficult to follow because ideas are repeated and the paragraphs do not consistently serve distinct purposes. For example, the claim that science is useful in the future appears several times, while causes and effects are mixed together in the long paragraph beginning “In my opinion.” Linking phrases such as “Another reason” and “Nowadays” provide some connections, but relationships between ideas are often unclear. Organise the essay into a clear introduction, a paragraph explaining causes, a paragraph explaining social effects, and a conclusion; use references and transitions to show how each point connects.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some task-related vocabulary, including “medical field,” “nurses,” “scientist,” “admission,” and “high marks,” so the reader can identify the general subject. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, particularly “science,” “future,” and “study.” Frequent spelling errors such as “sevral,” “enugh,” “behaind,” and “socitey” make the writing less clear, while expressions such as “marit list” and “science is a though subject” are not accurate or natural in context. Build a more precise vocabulary for causes and social consequences, and check spelling and collocations carefully. For instance, you could describe “entry requirements” and a “shortage of qualified healthcare professionals.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences using clauses, for example, “If the students do not study science at university…” This shows some effort to express cause and consequence. However, the range is limited, and complex sentences are often faulty, so the reader sometimes has to work to understand the meaning. Errors include subject–verb agreement (“students wants”), verb forms (“they will be not able”), articles and sentence construction (“it a interasting and usefull”), and punctuation where sentences run together. Practise building accurate sentences with one main idea and a clear subject and verb, then add subordinate clauses. Check agreement and word order, as in “students want” and “they will not be able to.”
