In today's world in many countries not majority of students prefer to study science at the university there are multiple reason for this ,the essay will discuss the causes and effects of it on the society

There are multiple causes for the students not willing to study science at the university but the one major cause could be that the universities lack for the practicals. There is a controlled environment in the universities students are not able to perform the experiments by their own, they do not get the freedom for the same.Universties often do not have quality equipments .For instance in universities there are not full equipments and the equipments which are available are not in a fully working condition

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses both parts of the prompt (causes and effects), but the development is limited. The causes are restricted to a single point regarding university equipment, and the effects are somewhat narrow, focusing primarily on practical safety. The ideas are repetitive and lack the depth required for a higher band. To improve, you should brainstorm a wider range of factors, such as the difficulty of the curriculum, career prospects, or the influence of social media, and provide more detailed explanations for each point.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which is a positive step. However, the use of cohesive devices is mechanical and sometimes inaccurate. For example, the transition 'In conclusion although, there are many...' is awkward and lacks proper punctuation. There is a lack of variety in linking words, and the progression of ideas within paragraphs is sometimes disjointed. To improve, focus on using a wider range of cohesive devices like 'consequently,' 'furthermore,' or 'in contrast' to better connect your sentences and ideas.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is basic and repetitive. Phrases like 'not willing to study' and 'do not study' are used frequently. There are also issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'lack for the practicals' (should be 'lack practical training') and 'cured' (which is not appropriate for social issues; 'addressed' or 'resolved' would be better). The range is limited, and the errors in word formation and collocation occasionally make the text feel unnatural.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay relies heavily on simple sentence structures. There are frequent errors in punctuation, such as missing spaces after commas and periods, and run-on sentences. Grammatical errors are persistent, including subject-verb agreement issues (e.g., 'there are not full equipments') and incorrect article usage. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of basic grammatical errors and the lack of complex sentence structures prevent the essay from reaching a higher band. Focus on mastering basic sentence construction and punctuation before attempting more complex structures.
