In the current era of scientific and technologial progress, we find ourselves in the modern world, where in many countries most of the students are not choosing science to study at university, It is crucial that different people of different countries have different perceptions, different levels of intelligence, different levels of understanding, and different mindsets regarding the given statement, we will discuss why most of the students are not choosing science to study at university more broadly in the upcomming paragraphs, which will lead us to the causes, and effects on society, From my perspective, there are various viewpoints to consider, Now a days Artificial Intelligence resolve most of the problems, and people and get solutions of complex problems, and formulas from AI, Due to advancement in AI, students dont choose science to study at university, They choose different cources of software engineering (SE), and Information Technolgy (IT), because of their interest in Software Engineering, and in Information Technology, According to the mindsets of students these two domains will helps them to find a good job of their interest, and they can perform well in professional life, and grow fast in their professional life, This may causes very low numbers of scientist and chemists in future, and the low numbers of scientist, and chemists makes very bad effect on society to identify the oportunities to explore in science, According to my knowledge or experience of university life, Students are not guided properly, they are spending their life according to ther interest in activities, and they think choosing course of their interest will lead to a good career, which is right from one of prespective, that people perform well in the job of their interest, but students dont thinks that what effects will be occurs when most of the student choose differenent courses, also the one of the major concern of dont study science is that, Science is a difficult course to study, and one of the relevent example of given statement is, In UK, high unoversity tuitions fees combined with low starting salaries for laoratory researches have driven students away from traditional chemistry and bilogy degrees, As a direct result, the UK pharmaceutical sector now faces a severe shortage of local skilled chemists, forcing companies to spend millions recruiting telent from overseas to develope new medicines.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: causes and effects. However, the development is uneven. The introduction is overly long and repetitive, failing to clearly state a position. While the causes (AI, career interest, difficulty of science) are identified, the discussion on effects is somewhat limited and lacks depth. The example regarding the UK is relevant and well-integrated, which helps support the argument. To improve, you should focus on structuring your ideas more concisely in the introduction and ensuring that the effects on society are explored with more analytical depth rather than just listing potential outcomes.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay lacks effective paragraphing, as it is presented as one long block of text. This makes it difficult for the reader to follow the progression of ideas. While there are some cohesive devices used (e.g., 'Due to', 'As a direct result'), they are often used mechanically or incorrectly. The flow of ideas is frequently interrupted by run-on sentences and repetitive phrasing. To achieve a higher band, you must use clear paragraph breaks to separate the introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion, and ensure that each paragraph focuses on a single, well-developed idea.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks precision and variety. There are several spelling errors (e.g., 'technologial', 'upcomming', 'cources', 'laoratory', 'telent', 'develope') and some awkward collocations (e.g., 'get solutions of complex problems'). While you attempt to use some topic-specific vocabulary like 'pharmaceutical sector' and 'laboratory researchers', the overall range is limited. To improve, focus on learning the correct spelling of common academic terms and practice using synonyms to avoid repeating words like 'different' and 'interest' multiple times in close proximity.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. There is a heavy reliance on comma splices and run-on sentences, such as 'In the current era... we find ourselves... where in many countries...'. Subject-verb agreement is inconsistent (e.g., 'This may causes', 'these two domains will helps'). Punctuation is also problematic, with commas often used where full stops are required. While you attempt some complex structures, they are often faulty. You should focus on writing shorter, clearer sentences and proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement and punctuation errors.
