In the evolving modern period, the diversification in study fields has impacted more on science studies. With boom in AI and technology poeple have shown more interest towards it.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt (causes and effects). However, the development of ideas is inconsistent. The causes are somewhat repetitive, focusing heavily on AI rather than broader factors like curriculum difficulty or career prospects. The effects are mentioned but lack depth; for instance, the claim about 'not more capable students' is vague and lacks clear explanation. To reach a higher band, you should provide more specific examples and ensure that the link between the cause (e.g., lack of interest) and the effect (e.g., societal impact) is more logically connected and fully explored.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or repetitive (e.g., 'Moreover', 'Further more'). Some transitions between sentences are abrupt, making the flow feel disjointed. For example, the jump from discussing AI to the job market for Cyber security lacks a clear linking phrase to show the relationship between these ideas. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence would significantly improve the logical progression of your argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks precision and sophistication. There are several instances of non-standard word choices, such as 'practicals and experimentals' (should be 'practical work and experiments') and 'theoreticals' (should be 'theoretical studies'). Additionally, there are minor errors in word formation, such as 'poeple' and 'knoweldge'. To improve, focus on using more academic collocations and ensure you are using the correct parts of speech. Expanding your range of vocabulary beyond basic terms would help you convey your ideas with greater clarity and impact.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'The causes as discussed above is'), incorrect article usage, and awkward phrasing (e.g., 'Science studies is taught more in textbook form'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. While the meaning is generally understandable, the frequency of these errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focusing on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy and refining your sentence construction will be key to improvement.
