IELTS Writing Task 2 question

In many countries not enough students are choosing to study science at university. What are the causes of this? What effects does it have on society?

Give reasons for your answer and include relevant examples from your knowledge or experience.

Student answer (Band 4.5)

In recent years science has become a widely discussed issue in modren society, it is due to the fact that science play vital role in how world is shapping and evolves. It is possible to claim that in majority of countires pupils are not interested to enrolled in science subject at university. There are sevral reasons for that most of the young people are interested in different subject such as AI and Cyber security I will discuss main causes and their effects in this essay.

One of the mosty frequently cited argument regarding science is that it is now diffitcult for students to reads theories and propose solucitons. Moreover it can take time to understand different topics so as results most of the students choose different subject according to their interest. For instance AI can gives people greater fredom to make their on decision.

Majority of students no chossing to study science, it have various negative on daily life, one primary effect is that its leads ot social isolation, job replacement via automation and data privacy and security concerns. Secondly ir triggers stress, peer pressure and the breakdown of tradional family structure and as result it causes mental fatigue and dependency.

To conclude, I concide that science is a integral part in overall development of society, I would strongly recomend that everyone should need to check or understand the basic of subject they are going to choose. Goverment should neet to take step and make proper organization to promote science in rural and urban areas.
