Student answer (Band 4.5)

Most of the students are in many countries mostly students are not interested to take admission in the science university students are enough to admit in the science technology. Many of the causes of this that some students not interested in technology.

Firstly most of the students are really interested in the medical field. They want to become a doctor because its easier than to become scientist and had to charge more salary it.The big reason. On the other hand government should not support the science dont gives the rose opportunities to the students goverments need to more and relaxable opportunities to the international students.

When the students not coming in the science university those country face the daysfunctional factors in her regin and it is the not good thing for her country. Scientists are the paramount perosns for the country when they faced the unrealistic day for example in 2019 when the covid 19th coming in the world on this time every country need the vaccines and when the the country see the viruses in the field and agriculture scientists made the spray and medicine they protect the community.

From my perspectives ways to be know with the fact that of physical factor is good for learning accountability dedication leaderships among many other traits and science study it helps to maintain the quality of life and perspectives in different ways.

In conclusion science study is very crucial for country, community and in every field who is living. Todays world individuals mostly depend on the artifical interlligence. Science field play a rose role in the field.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

The response attempts to address both parts of the prompt, identifying causes such as students preferring the medical field and the perceived lack of government support, as well as the effects on society, such as failing to manage health crises like COVID-19 and agricultural issues. However, the ideas are often under-developed, repetitive, and lack clear elaboration. For instance, the discussion on government support jumps abruptly into unrelated points, and the link between science students and societal malfunction is framed simplistically. The position of the writer is discernible, but the overall development suffers from generalization and a lack of depth. This places the response firmly at Band 5.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

The essay is divided into paragraphs, which shows an attempt at organisation, but the overall progression of ideas is frequently disrupted by poor logical sequencing and abrupt transitions. Cohesive devices are either missing, inadequate, or used inappropriately, such as 'When the students not coming in the science university' and 'From my perspectives ways to be know with the fact that'. Referencing is often unclear, with pronouns like 'her' and 'it' referring ambiguously back to previous concepts. Paragraphing is present, but internal cohesion fails to guide the reader smoothly through the argument. Overall, the structural and cohesive weaknesses align with the Band 4 descriptor.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.0

The vocabulary used is basic and frequently repetitive, with numerous word-choice errors that strain the reader. Examples include phrases like 'daysfunctional factors' instead of 'dysfunctional factors', 'rose opportunities' instead of 'broad opportunities', and 'artificial interlligence' with spelling errors. The writer attempts less common vocabulary, but these attempts generally result in inaccurate collocations and incorrect lexical forms, such as 'paramount perosns' or 'relaxable opportunities'. Because the errors are frequent and occasionally impede communication, the vocabulary reaches only a Band 4 level.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.0

The response exhibits a very limited range of grammatical structures, relying heavily on simple sentences and faulty attempts at complex ones. Grammatical errors are pervasive throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues ('most of the students are... is'), missing auxiliary verbs ('government should not support the science dont gives'), and incorrect preposition use. Punctuation is also weak, with run-on sentences and missing capitalization. These errors occur in nearly every sentence and frequently distort meaning, requiring the reader to decode the intended message. Consequently, this performance corresponds to a Band 4.
