Every student has right to choose their subject for study. Its depends on the student interest. There are many causes students are not choosing the study of science.

The modern technologies come with science. If the students not get the science study the country will not become become modern and developed country. The societies not become the modern. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

The response attempts to address both parts of the prompt regarding the causes of declining science enrolment and the effects on society. However, the development of ideas is limited and somewhat repetitive. For instance, the causes are outlined as difficulty in the syllabus and high costs, while the effects focus broadly on nations failing to become modern. While these ideas are relevant, they lack deep extension and specific, well-articulated examples, remaining somewhat generalized. For example, mentioning 'The unrelevant things are added in the syllabus' is vague. Nevertheless, a clear stance is presented throughout, touching on university fees and societal modernization. Overall, the response fulfills the basic requirements of the task by covering all parts, but the superficial level of development places it firmly at Band 5.0.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The essay is divided into paragraphs, which helps signal the introduction of new points such as causes and effects. However, the overall organizational structure lacks clear progression. Transitions between sentences and paragraphs feel mechanical and abrupt, relying on basic connectors like 'Firstly', 'Secondly', and 'In conclusion'. Furthermore, referencing is sometimes unclear, as seen in sentences like 'The effect are many of this students choice on society', where pronoun reference and cohesive ties are faulty. Paragraphing is attempted, but individual paragraphs often consist of short, disjointed sentences rather than cohesive trains of thought. While there is a basic arrangement of ideas, the repetitive nature and lack of smooth logical flow prevent the essay from achieving a higher band score, resulting in a Band 5.0.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary used throughout the essay is basic and repetitive, with frequent reliance on simple terms like 'study', 'country', and 'science'. There are noticeable word choice and collocation errors, such as 'selecting to science subject' instead of 'selecting science subjects', and 'affored' instead of 'afford'. The student attempts some less common vocabulary items such as 'amenities', 'international companies', and 'development', but their accurate and flexible use is hindered by persistent lexical inaccuracies. Although the vocabulary is minimally adequate to convey the basic meaning of the arguments regarding education and society, the limited range and frequent errors mean the response does not meet the criteria for Band 6.0, fitting the Band 5.0 descriptor well.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The essay displays a very limited range of grammatical structures. Most sentences are simple or poorly constructed complex forms, such as 'Study is the basic thing which is necessary for the development of the country.' There are frequent grammatical errors involving subject-verb agreement ('the science study is very costly'), article usage ('on university level'), and word form ('The unrelevant things'). Attempts at complex sentences frequently result in structural errors, such as 'The normal student which is not intelligent they cannot procceed the study with science.' These errors cause noticeable difficulty and strain for the reader at times, although the core message can generally be deciphered. Because error-free sentences are rare and control over basic grammar is inconsistent, this merits a Band 4.5 or 5.0, comfortably landing at 5.0 due to the communicative intent being mostly achieved.
