In this statement talking about a students are not choosing to study science at university. This statement is hundred percent correct. I will explain this statement in following.
Nowadays in different countries are not choosing to study science because science subjects are more difficult and hard llike physics, chemistry and mathematics. Science is very difficult so students do not choose a science.Science students do not get jobs easily, and even if they do, the work is hard and the pay is low. Therefore, students do not get science. Arts students are good than science students because arts students so get jobs easily, and they do not work is hard but they work is very easy and the pay is very high.
If fewer students choose to study science, it will have serious negative effects on society. Firstly, if this situation continues, the country will have fewer scientists, doctors, and engineers. Science students do not get jobs easily, and even if they do, the work is hard and the pay is low, which is why students avoid this field. As a result, the country will have to depend on other countries for technology and medical facilities. Secondly, scientific research and technological progress will slow down. Without new inventions, the economy will not grow fast. Finally, public health will also suffer because of a lack of doctors and researchers. Therefore students do not choose science.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both the causes of fewer students studying science and the effects this has on society. However, the treatment of these ideas remains limited and under-developed. For instance, the reasons provided for why students avoid science, such as subjects being difficult and jobs having low pay, are repeated multiple times across the essay rather than being expanded with new arguments or deeper exploration. Similarly, the societal effects are touched upon, mentioning a lack of doctors and slower technological progress, but these points lack sufficient elaboration and specific supporting examples. The position is somewhat discernible, though the frequent repetition detracts from a clear, progressive development of ideas throughout the response.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
There is a basic organization apparent in the essay, with separate introduction, body, and conclusion paragraphs, and some use of basic cohesive devices such as 'Firstly', 'Secondly', and 'In conclusion'. However, there is a distinct lack of clear overall progression, largely due to heavy repetition of sentences and ideas, such as copying entire clauses about jobs and pay into different paragraphs. Paragraphing is attempted, but internal cohesion is frequently faulty or mechanical. Referencing is also unclear at times, particularly in transitional phrases like 'I will explain this statement in following', which disrupts the logical flow and makes the overall arrangement less than coherent.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, utilizing a limited range that is only minimally adequate for the task. Words and phrases such as 'difficult', 'hard', 'science students', and 'jobs easily' are recycled constantly throughout the text. There are noticeable lexical and word-choice errors, such as 'arts students so get jobs easily', 'do not get science', and 'country success', which cause some difficulty for the reader and reveal a restricted control of appropriate collocations and word forms. Attempts to use less common vocabulary are largely absent, keeping the lexical range at a basic level.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The response demonstrates a very limited range of grammatical structures, relying primarily on simple sentences alongside frequent attempts at complex or compound sentences that are structurally faulty. There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues like 'a students are not choosing', preposition errors such as 'in following', and awkward clause structures like 'government of gave different facilities science students'. These frequent errors cause considerable difficulty and strain for the reader, though the core meaning of the arguments usually remains just barely retrievable.
