Student answer (Band 5.0)
In various nations not enough learners are choosing to study science at university. I firmly believed that learners did not choose to study in science like in medical field because of finanacial stability and challenging course, however it can affect in the society. For example, lack of individual working in the hospital because they are not interested in science subject, which can cause lack of workers in medical field.
The main reason is that learners are not intereseted in science because of challenging lesson and expensive tuition fee in university. Some household are not affort that there children study in university that's why they choose the cheap coarses and a piece of cake lessons. However, its have detrimental side like lack of medical workers such as nurse and doctor these can cause lack of assist in the patient.
Another main reason is that learners are more likely facinating and piece of cake courses like in tourism management and hospitality management because it is cheapest and affordable tuition fee. They want to explore in distinct countries, for example they choose flight attendant so that they can travel and explore new cultures in different society.
In conclusion, I bilieved that I agree of the situation because not all students can afford to study at university thats why learners choose the cheapest school. Moreover, it has a negative effect in society like less workers in medical health and it is crucial that it has a massive medical workers in the world because it has a lot of patient who needs help.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both causes and effects, and your main position is that cost and difficult courses discourage students, while society may face shortages of healthcare workers. The examples of nursing, doctors and patient care are relevant. However, the discussion is only partly developed: the effect is repeated several times, while the cause involving students’ preference for tourism and hospitality is asserted rather than clearly explained. The opening also says students avoid science “like in medical field,” which narrows the issue without explaining other science disciplines. To strengthen the response, explain each cause with a clear link to students’ decisions and develop a wider or more specific social consequence, supported by an example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has an introduction, separate body paragraphs and a conclusion, so the reader can identify its broad structure. You also use basic linking expressions such as “For example,” “Another main reason” and “In conclusion.” However, progression is limited because the shortage of medical workers is repeated in the opening, second paragraph and conclusion, and the relationship between some ideas is unclear. For instance, the paragraph about tourism and hospitality does not connect its example of flight attendants back to the effects on society. Some transitions, including “However,” do not clearly signal a contrast. Organise one paragraph around each cause, then give the effects their own developed explanation, using references and links that make the connections explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “tuition fee,” “medical workers,” “detrimental” and “explore new cultures,” which helps communicate the general subject. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or repetitive, sometimes making the meaning harder to follow. Examples include “piece of a cake lessons” for easy courses, “lack of assist in the patient” and “massive medical workers.” There are also noticeable spelling errors such as “finanacial,” “intereseted” and “bilieved.” Aim for precise, natural combinations and check spelling carefully. Replacing repeated general phrases with accurate terms for university costs, course difficulty and workforce shortages would make the argument clearer and more academic.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a reason clause in “because of challenging lesson and expensive tuition fee” and a result clause beginning “which can cause.” However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently in sentence construction, agreement, articles and verb forms. For example, “I firmly believed” does not fit the present argument, “Some household are not afford” has errors in both agreement and verb structure, and “its have detrimental side” is not grammatically formed. The sentence about nurses and doctors also lacks clear punctuation and a complete connection between its ideas. Practise building accurate subject–verb patterns and checking articles and plural forms; then add complex clauses only when you can control their structure.
