Student answer (Band 5.0)

Science and technology fields are very crucila in current era. A majority of students in many countries are avoiding to take interest in science fields. Science and technology are leading industries and scocieties from few decades. It can create a very serious impact in our routine work.

From my prospective, students should higly encourage toward science fields. These fileds are very progressive and intend to invention. Those students who are not concerned in this profession, can not progresss in industries and their future goals. Minimizing these fields can result in professsional growth as well. To solve this problem, schools and colleges should intiate special mind gromming cources for the childrens. They should create many logical games related to science and technolgy. So that students can build their interests from intial schooling. To illustrate this, Intially chinese students were not taking interest in Scince and tech fields then after realizing this they took some exellent steps toward this problem.

On the other hand, becoming less choice in Science and technogy field result in red flag for a country growth. This is also a major concern for a dveloping country. Wolrd is gradually becoming a global tech hub. Younger students are abckbone of any country growth and success. So, if student lose their interest in science field, there will be no future scientist. Morever, it also stop many usefull inventions. For this solution, Government should involve directly in it. Government and higher athourities should develop a deep interest in this fields and also improve funding related these problems. For instance, Pkaistani government should release a very charming and good funding approches for the future scientist and investors those are not joining Science and technology.

To conclude this, every country should throughly inspect major concerned that are leading students and younger interests in science and technolgy field. To keep a country in progress, many small steps should be taken to achieve future tech goals.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both the causes and effects in a general way, and your position that science education matters is apparent. However, the causes are not clearly explained: the response mainly recommends school activities, rather than identifying why students currently avoid science, such as perceived difficulty, limited career guidance, or weak job prospects. Effects are more evident in claims about fewer scientists and inventions, but these points are asserted rather than explained or supported with convincing examples. The references to Chinese students and Pakistani funding are vague and do not show what happened or how it relates to the question. Develop a small number of relevant causes and effects with clear explanations and specific examples.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable paragraph structure, moving from an introduction to recommendations, societal effects, and a conclusion. This gives the reader some organisation. However, the progression is not consistently clear because the second paragraph shifts from students’ reasons for avoiding science to advice about what schools should do, while the task asks for causes. Linking phrases such as “On the other hand” and “For this solution” do not always express the relationship between the ideas that follow. Some points are repeated, including the need for government action and the importance of science to national progress. Organise the body around one paragraph on causes and one on effects, and use clearer references and transitions to connect each explanation.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “industries,” “inventions,” “funding,” and “future scientist,” so the subject is generally identifiable. However, the range is limited and many word-choice, collocation, and spelling errors make the writing difficult to read in places. Examples include “mind gromming cources,” “red flag for a country growth,” and “charming and good funding approches”; these expressions are unclear or unnatural in context. Frequent misspellings such as “crucila,” “scocieties,” and “technolgy” also reduce accuracy. Build a reliable set of phrases for discussing education and social effects, and check spelling and collocations carefully. Prefer precise expressions such as “career prospects” or “investment in research” over vague wording.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You use both short statements and some attempts at longer structures, including “So, if student lose their interest in science field, there will be no future scientist.” This shows an effort to connect ideas through conditional sentences. However, grammatical errors are frequent, and complex attempts are often faulty. For example, “students should higly encourage toward science fields” lacks the correct passive form and preposition, while “becoming less choice … result” has problems with sentence structure and subject–verb agreement. Articles, plurals, and verb forms are also inconsistent, as in “a country growth” and “it also stop.” Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then extend them with subordinate clauses; proofread agreement, articles, and punctuation.
