Student answer (Band 4.5)
Science is that major subject without that our life is distrubed or completel9y demolished because scientist are those who can save us frommajor causr from their experiment.
In the primary school when childrens are study in 5 to 10 class, science is the major subject of their course if they didnot complete the exam of this subject then it would be more difficult for them to promote in new class because its taught us without science your study didnot complete but honestly it is a big lie of our school life.
when a children shows their intrest in science they choose science as her major subject and they clear their college study in science then the real truth come towards him that this was a lie because when they go to university the didnot need admission in science because they dont have more facilites to give a higher education of science to their students if some institute give good education of science but there fees are very high so normal student cannot afford it and that time students are in compulsion to change their feild and take admission in other feild so that would be more difficult for them.So that are the main reason student dont chose science in university because they knew that if they choosethis then they have to face more difficulty.
EXAMPLE;
my freind whose name is ali he is study with me at college whenthe first year of college is start and we have to choose subject then that time ali choose science subject he give attention to science after their hardwork he got position in science and he got admission in science university and he start his study her father take a loan of high amount for his education he cleared her degree then after main myth come towards him when he go for job and didnot find job because there is no institute of science after that he got very depressed now he is a clerk in private company and his entire life suspend due to bad dession.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
The response attempts to explain why students avoid university science, focusing on limited facilities, high fees and difficulty finding science-related work. Ali’s experience gives one concrete illustration of the perceived employment risk. However, the task asks for both causes and effects on society, and the response mainly discusses barriers to study and one individual’s disappointing career outcome. Wider social effects—such as shortages of scientists, slower innovation or weaker public-health capacity—are not explained. The central ideas are also difficult to follow in places, and the opening claim about science is not clearly connected to the question. To strengthen the response, state the causes directly, then explain several consequences for society and support each with relevant examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
There is a basic sequence from a general introduction to school and university choices, followed by an example about Ali. This gives the reader some sense of the intended progression. However, the response is not arranged into clear, purposeful paragraphs, and the example occupies a long block without a clear link back to the effects on society. Connectors such as “because,” “so,” and “after that” are repeated, while references such as “that time” and “this” do not always make the relationship between ideas clear. The standalone “EXAMPLE” label also interrupts the flow. Use separate paragraphs for causes and effects, and make each paragraph’s main point explicit before adding explanation or evidence.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
The response uses some topic-related vocabulary, including “science,” “university,” “facilities,” “education,” “admission,” and “job,” so the general subject is identifiable. However, the range is basic and repetitive, and frequent spelling and word-choice problems make several phrases difficult to interpret, such as “major causr,” “entire life suspend,” and “bad dession.” Some expressions are also unnatural or imprecise, including “the real truth come towards him” and “got position in science.” Aim for accurate, conventional academic phrasing and check spelling carefully. More precise terms such as “limited laboratory facilities,” “tuition fees,” “career prospects,” and “a shortage of qualified scientists” would help express the relevant ideas clearly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The response attempts both simple statements and longer sentences with reasons, for example the sentence beginning “when a children shows their intrest in science.” This shows an effort to connect ideas, but sentence structures are often incomplete or difficult to control, and errors frequently obscure meaning. Examples include “when childrens are study,” “they clear their college study,” and “he is study with me”; verb forms, agreement, and tense are not consistently accurate. Long sentences joined by repeated “because” and “so” also need clearer punctuation and clause boundaries. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them using controlled subordinate clauses. Check subject–verb agreement, past-tense forms in the anecdote, and articles and pronouns before submitting.
