Student answer (Band 5.5)

The contemenation that most of the propotion of students are choosing other domains over the sceince at universities,as sceince exploration and studies play massive role in technology and human development over the decades.sceince is expensive field which cause financial challenges and also a competitive and grueling field.

I am inclined to belive that, there are many factors involing due to that most of the students are not persueing sceince domain. On the top of list is financial burden, Most of the science field need massive amount of investing in order to perform experiments, there for universties charge huge amount of fee. in addition to that level of difficulty is also a considerabe factor, beacuse science need very practicle understaing of knowledge and hard work with respect to other disciplines.

For instance, during my undergraduation when i was sceince student,we followed a strict schdeule in order to miantain my studies and side hustle in a balance and it was really hard to miantain work- life balance on the other hand arts and commerce students was very chill in their life and have very lienient course of studies and in the end of year, science majors fee bill was high then others.

Science discipline need massive young-force to explore it and humanity need new and effecient discoveries over the time in order to maintain well being. if many students are choosing other areas of studies it affect will be worse on society. Humanity needs new methods and invention to come over the problems they are facing,in the term of healthcare, and technology.Furthermore, no research and development disrupt the economical growth.

So,after discussing the cause and effects of why in many countries not enough studnets are choosing to study sceince at universties.we can conclude on that universities should offer financially support as well as incourage more students to participate in science studies.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both parts of the question: you identify financial pressure and the difficulty of science courses as causes, then explain possible effects on healthcare, technology, and economic growth. Your position is clear, and the personal example about balancing study and work gives one cause some support. However, several effects are asserted rather than explained—for example, you say that fewer science students will mean “no research and development” and disrupt economic growth, without showing the steps linking these outcomes. The comparison with arts and commerce students is also broad and not fully connected to why students choose other subjects. Develop each main point with a specific explanation or example, and distinguish likely effects from absolute claims.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has an overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph on causes, a personal example, a paragraph on effects, and a conclusion. This makes the main direction understandable. You also use linking expressions such as “In addition,” “For instance,” and “Furthermore.” However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. The personal example is separated from the causes it supports, while the effects paragraph moves quickly from healthcare and technology to economic growth. The conclusion begins with a long summary sentence that is difficult to follow. Group the personal example with the relevant cause, use clearer topic sentences, and make each paragraph develop one central point. Check that pronouns and references clearly identify what they refer to.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “financial burden,” “competitive,” “work-life balance,” “discoveries,” and “economic growth.” These choices show an effort to discuss causes and social consequences rather than relying only on basic terms. However, spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable and sometimes make the reader pause, as in “sceince,” “propotion,” and “effecient.” Some combinations are also unnatural: “massive amount of investing” and “young-force” do not express the intended ideas clearly. Aim for accurate, natural collocations and proofread spelling carefully. Reusing a smaller set of precise terms is more effective than attempting ambitious phrases that are not yet controlled.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You use both simple statements and attempts at more complex sentences, including explanations with “because” and “in order to.” The main ideas can generally be understood, but some sentence structures and punctuation are inaccurate. For example, “Science discipline need massive young-force” has subject–verb agreement problems, and “if many students are choosing other areas of studies it affect will be worse” has an unclear clause structure and verb form. Several sentences also run together, particularly the opening and conclusion, making relationships between ideas harder to follow. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and use full stops to separate independent ideas. Review agreement, articles, and verb forms when editing.
