Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays, in many countries, fewer students in univesity choose science subject. There are several reasons for this trend, including the difficulty of subject and also not wide range of opportunities for students in future.
One of the reason of this subject is the understanding of the subject. The difficulty of this course is very rigorous and hard. Students shows lack of interest in this field. There are many challenges faced by students to understand complex theories of subjects like physics, chemistry, mathematics and biology. also science subjects include practicals which require alot of time and effort.
In some educational instutions, science professors main concerns is understanding ,by effective method memorize the concept to students than rote learning and cramming. But due to ineffective teaching student not shown interests in science subjects. To improve these challenges, government should offfer more scholarships in science subjects and also senior professional teaching staff enrolled, so students concepts clear easily. however, High amount of salaries offer provide financial aid so more students attract in science. To secure more admissions it is necessary to improve career counsling prospect, gave awarness and arrange seminar sessions to students to pursue scientific field in future.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both parts of the question by identifying causes—difficulty, teaching quality and perceived job prospects—and describing social effects such as fewer researchers, slower innovation and dependence on foreign technology. These points are relevant and your example about a graduate struggling with technical interview questions helps illustrate the employment concern. However, some ideas are asserted rather than fully explained: the link between limited job opportunities and students’ choices could be clearer, and the effects on society would benefit from a specific example of how shortages affect services or industry. The final paragraph shifts to solutions, which are not requested, and takes space from developing the causes and consequences. Keep the focus on explaining these two parts in greater depth.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, discussion of causes, a paragraph on consequences and a concluding section. The progression from individual study difficulties to wider social effects is generally understandable, and phrases such as “As the consequences of this” signal a change in focus. However, some links are mechanical or unclear. For example, “One of the reason of this subject is the understanding of the subject” does not clearly state the cause, while “Another cause” introduces several ideas in one long paragraph. The final solutions paragraph also interrupts the focus on causes and effects. Use clearer topic sentences, divide distinct causes into separate paragraphs, and make references such as “this” point unmistakably to the preceding idea.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of topic vocabulary, including “complex theories,” “practical experience,” “skilled professional researchers” and “innovations.” These choices show an attempt to discuss science education and its consequences beyond basic terms. However, inaccurate word choice, collocation and spelling are noticeable and sometimes make ideas less precise: “the difficulty of this course is very rigorous,” “foreign exports” and “career counselling prospect” do not express the intended meanings naturally. There are also misspellings such as “univesity,” “obiviouly” and “resarchers.” Aim for accurate, natural combinations and check spelling carefully. More precise terms for employment prospects and reliance on imported technology would strengthen the discussion.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a conditional example beginning “if a student get admission” and a result clause about what happens in an interview. This gives the response some structural variety, but control is inconsistent. Agreement and verb forms are problematic in examples such as “Students shows,” “student not shown interests” and “there is only few professors left.” Articles and sentence boundaries also need attention, as in “One of the reason” and the run-on sequence beginning “Another cause why students not incline.” These errors sometimes make the reader work to understand the intended relationship between ideas. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, complete clause structures and punctuation, then proofread each sentence for a clear subject and verb.
