Student answer (Band 6.0)
It has been witnessed that the number of students is reducing to choose science in higher education. I think, the main cause is the learning method is less interesting towards students that's why they found less attractive to this specific subject. due to this circumstation, society can suffer of lack of professionals in this field letter on.
Learning and teaching method is one of the most important attribute to attract someone and fell in love in specific subject. Teacher nowadays, give boring speech in the class and students get overwhelmed and loose interst in this subject. Human likes stories if our teachers can share the scientific things through stories it will be more interesting to the students. Moreover, the practical experiment should be introduced rather than only theoritical explaination. Student can get more enjoy and feel much attachment to the science by doing these kinfd of experiment by their own .
But if the situation goes on like this we have to face the shortage of professionals like doctors, engineers, scientist and so on. Our innovation and progress will be stopped and the civilization will go backwards. By the time society becomes less progressive. Moreover, due to the shortage of the doctors and researchers we can not fight against new deseases and have to face gloval pendemics in the future. In addition natural dissasters can wipped out us easily because we will be not able to trace them properly without scientific studies.
In conclusion, by lacking of quality teaching method experimantal subject like science would be less intesting to the students.By the mean time lack of science students in higher education we face a professional shorteage in many important field such as healthcare, research department etc. in near future.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address both parts of the question: you identify unengaging teaching as a cause and describe possible social effects, including shortages of doctors, engineers and researchers, slower innovation, and weaker responses to disease and natural disasters. Your position is clear, and the examples are relevant. This meets the task well overall, but some effects are asserted rather than explained—for instance, the link between fewer science graduates and society “going backwards” could be made more specific. The cause is also quite narrow; you could consider additional factors such as career prospects, funding, or the perceived difficulty of science. Developing these points with a concrete example would make the response more complete and persuasive.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph explaining the teaching-related cause, a paragraph on social consequences, and a conclusion. The progression from cause to effects is easy to follow, and linking expressions such as “Moreover,” “But,” and “In conclusion” help signal relationships. This is a coherent arrangement, though some connections are mechanical or unclear. For example, “By the time society becomes less progressive” does not clearly show how it follows from the previous sentence, and the conclusion repeats the main points without adding a concise synthesis. Use clearer referencing and vary transitions so that links between claims are explicit rather than relying mainly on familiar connectors.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “practical experiment,” “professionals,” “innovation,” “researchers,” and “natural disasters,” which helps communicate the main ideas. However, the range is limited and several noticeable word-choice, collocation, and spelling errors make parts less natural or occasionally difficult to interpret. Examples include “students is reducing to choose,” “suffer of lack,” “gloval pendemics,” and “natural dissasters can wipped out us.” Some expressions, such as “boring speech” and “go backwards,” are also imprecise for an academic essay. Build a wider set of accurate collocations for education and social impact, and check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise phrasing would make your arguments clearer and more convincing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including conditional structures such as “if our teachers can share…” and “if the situation goes on like this…”. This shows some range, but control is inconsistent, and errors recur in sentence construction, agreement, articles, and punctuation. For example, “the number of students is reducing to choose” has an awkward grammatical structure, while “Teacher nowadays, give” has agreement and punctuation problems. The sentence beginning “By the time society becomes less progressive” is also not formed clearly. Practise building accurate subject–verb patterns and complete sentences before adding subordinate clauses. Review articles and plural forms, and use commas and full stops to separate ideas cleanly.
