Student answer (Band 5.0)
In many countries enough students are not taking science at university. The reason for this is that the coming era is going to be the era of AI and technology.Mostly students preffers skills instead of thoery beacaue in practical your skills matters more than your knowladge. If you have knowladge but you do not have practical skills than your survival may be going to be difficult in future.Everyone wants to become independent so for becoming this you have to learn new skills so you can survive in practical fields.Students are coming in technical fields more than science fields.
In science fields, there is long term studies and you cannot get enough practical skills as compared to any technical fields.
If most of the students are coming in technical fields than our society can grow in technology and research and this is very benificial for our society as well.
Today students enjoys freedom and a easy life so they simply left science studies because there is a lot of hard work in science fields. They simply choose fields which are aesy to continue and they can develop practical experience as well.Although science studies gives you practical experience but it is more difficult than any other fields. So if students are getting skills and experience in fields which are easy to continue , they simply left the science fields.
It has many advantages for our society but also have some disadvantages , due to the excess of students in technical fields ther is a lot of competition and mostly students remaines unemployed. So the rate od unemployment also increases in our society. For the betterment of our society there must be a balance in everything.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both causes and effects, and your main position is that students prefer practical, technology-related study while science is seen as demanding. The points about long study periods and the appeal of an easier route are relevant. You also identify possible social effects, including technological growth and unemployment. However, the explanation is only partly developed: the link between AI and declining science enrolment is asserted rather than explained, and the effects are not clearly weighed or supported with a specific example. The claim that technical fields help society grow sits uneasily beside the later warning about competition and unemployment. Develop each cause and effect with clearer reasoning and show how the effects follow from fewer science graduates.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
There is some organisation: the response begins with causes, then discusses students’ preferences and concludes with social effects and a recommendation for balance. Basic linking expressions such as “because,” “although,” and “so” help show relationships between ideas. However, progression is not consistently clear. Several points about practical skills, technical fields, and science being difficult are repeated, while the effects are introduced without a clear transition from the causes. Some sentences are joined into long chains, making relationships harder to follow. Use distinct paragraphs for the causes and effects, give each paragraph one main point, and use referencing and linking phrases precisely rather than repeating the same idea.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use a small range of topic-related vocabulary, including “AI,” “technology,” “practical skills,” “research,” “competition,” and “unemployment,” so the general subject is understandable. However, vocabulary is repetitive, particularly “fields,” “skills,” and “science,” and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, such as “coming in technical fields” and “the era of AI.” Frequent spelling errors—including “preffers,” “thoery,” “knowladge,” and “benificial”—also make the writing less clear and reduce control. Build a more precise set of expressions for education and social impact, and check spelling carefully. For example, use “enrol in technical courses” and “science-based careers” to express the intended ideas more naturally.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses with “because,” “although,” and “if,” but control is inconsistent. Errors occur frequently in agreement, articles, verb forms, and sentence boundaries: “students enjoys freedom,” “a easy life,” and “they simply left science studies” are examples. The opening also runs directly into the next sentence without a space or clear punctuation. Some longer constructions, such as “If you have knowledge but you do not have practical skills than your survival may be going to be difficult,” are difficult to process because the conditional structure is faulty. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and articles, and break complex ideas into shorter, correctly punctuated sentences before adding more complex structures.
