Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is widely recognized that students from varios countries are not interested to choose science field at university. It is my contention that it may be due to job opportunities in host countries or due to university standards.
One of the compelling rationale of why learner do not want to select science is because of they are thinking they would never find suitable jobs after completion science degree. Some countries do not offer more jobs related to science. For instance in our country if a student complete their degree in science after that they are interested to go to foreign countries to do jobs get financial stability and support their families. It is due to low salaries or more work hours.
The second unbeatable reason is university standard. Its means that these countries have the deficiency of those institutes which offers science fields . Moreover, there are several reasons why students not interested oin science. One is teachers, they haveno good teaching skills or the university not provide the things which are required for research. For instance, In peshawer university there is one electronic microscope so how and where the students will do experients.
However it has a plethora effects on our upcoming genarations. They will far from the real devolopments and revolution occurs in differant species.Students will not able to discovered new things like minerals, coal and other non-discovered expensive unique items.
In conclusion, not studying highly effect the country socially, economically and atomically. It stop further discoveries and process of achieving those things from soil.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both parts of the question: you suggest that limited employment prospects and weak university provision discourage students, then describe consequences such as reduced research and fewer discoveries. The example of a university having only one electron microscope helps make the facilities point concrete. However, some ideas are less fully explained than others. The link between graduates seeking work abroad and the shortage of science students could be made clearer, and the effects on society are brief and partly unclear—for example, “far from the real developments” does not specify how society is affected. Develop consequences such as reduced innovation, skilled-worker shortages, or dependence on other countries, and explain each cause-and-effect link more explicitly.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a coherent overall arrangement: an introduction, two paragraphs on causes, a paragraph on effects, and a conclusion. Signposting such as “One of the… rationale,” “The second… reason,” and “However” helps readers follow the main stages. Some connections are nevertheless mechanical or unclear. The second cause paragraph shifts from university standards to teachers and research equipment without clearly showing how these points relate, while “Moreover, there are several reasons” repeats the idea of multiple causes rather than advancing the argument. The conclusion also introduces “socially, economically and atomically” without these categories being developed earlier. Use clearer topic sentences and link each example directly to its main point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt some topic-related and less common vocabulary, including “financial stability,” “research,” “developments,” and “discoveries,” so the response can communicate its main ideas. However, word choice, collocation, word forms, and spelling are noticeably inaccurate and sometimes make meaning difficult to interpret. Examples include “compelling rationale” where the surrounding sentence needs a clear plural construction, “unbeatable reason,” “real devolopments,” and “atomically.” “Expensive unique items” is also an imprecise description of possible discoveries. Aim for accurate, natural phrases rather than choosing words mainly for formality, and check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise terms such as “scientific progress” and “natural resources” would suit the topic.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use both simple statements and attempts at longer, more complex sentences, including “It is my contention that…” and the example beginning “For instance…”. This gives the response some structural variety, but complex constructions are often faulty, and errors sometimes make relationships between ideas hard to follow. For example, “they are thinking they would never find” has an awkward tense pattern, while “if a student complete their degree… after that they are interested” has problems with verb agreement and sentence structure. In “the university not provide,” the verb form is incomplete, and “It stop further discoveries” lacks subject–verb agreement. Practise building accurate clauses with clear subjects and verbs, and use full stops to separate long or incomplete sentences.
