Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both parts of the question: you suggest that students feel unprepared or unsure of their ability, and that science is demanding and costly; you also describe possible effects such as shortages of doctors and engineers, weaker research, and economic harm. These are relevant ideas, but several are asserted rather than explained. For example, “Human life are struggling more and more” does not clarify how reduced science enrolment affects daily life, and the link between students moving abroad and “collateral damage” is unclear. The conclusion repeats that science is lengthy and complex but does not bring the causes and effects together. Develop fewer points with a clear explanation or example for each, and state the consequences more precisely.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, a paragraph on causes, a paragraph on effects, and a conclusion. This helps the reader identify the two parts of the task. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow because several claims are joined without clear relationships. In the causes paragraph, “Beside student think…” and “thats why admission diminishing…” do not make the reasoning between students’ concerns and university admissions clear. Linking phrases such as “Moreover,” “Furthermore,” and “Consequently” are used, but sometimes introduce ideas without showing a precise connection. Use topic sentences, group related points, and make references explicit so each effect follows logically from the shortage of science students.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “logical,” “time consuming,” “research centre,” “economic structure,” and “skill worker.” This shows an effort to discuss education, research, and society. However, the range is limited and many word-choice, collocation, and spelling errors make parts of the message difficult to understand, such as “not much pupile,” “education science,” “basic relaed things,” and “colleteral damage.” Some phrases are also too vague, including “several things are effect on community.” Build accuracy with common academic collocations and check spelling and word forms. Choosing precise terms such as “science programmes,” “qualified workers,” and “research output” would make your ideas clearer and more natural.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You try to use both simple and more complex sentence patterns, including “Not only this… but also…” and clauses beginning with “Because” and “which.” However, complex sentences are often incomplete or inaccurately formed, and errors in agreement, articles, and verb forms occur throughout. For instance, “One of the main causeof students are not selecting…” has a faulty sentence structure and subject–verb agreement, while “Human life are struggling” also has an agreement error. “In conclusion, current scenario students are not choosing…” lacks the grammatical links needed to express the idea clearly. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, then check singular/plural agreement and articles. Shorter, accurate sentences would improve clarity while you develop more complex structures.
