Student answer (Band 5.0)

In numerous countries, not too much individuals are selecting to study at the university because of it takes muchh more time then they expected aslo it needs more effort rather than others.although, it has more drawbacks on the society such as in the techonological side.

One of the major reason is that, it takes more time to complete their degree especially on the science, as well as in the medical. In addition, scientific degrees may take several years to complete.it needs more effort other field offer such as buissnes, information tecnology more job oppotunities as well as high salary for the employment in the short time so they may prefer for these insead of that studying.

As a result, society may face more poblems as well as there would be the shotage of the scientists in the society. In addition, there are several issues in the healthcare as well as on the eniroment. for instance, if we could not give the opportunities to the sciencetists in our socety it may lead to different issues if there is no scientist in our society we may face many problems and we need better employment in our country as well as in our society to develope our vision for the younger generation.

In conclusion, in several nations members of the society they do not want to study science subjects, due to their financial background also it needs more time and analytical subjects like maths physics. in our society there would be neither any scientists.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both causes and effects, identifying the time and effort required for science degrees as reasons students may choose other fields, and predicting shortages of scientists and problems in healthcare and the environment. These points are relevant, but the response only partially develops the task: the causes are not clearly separated or explained, and the effects are mostly asserted rather than supported with a specific example. The reference to financial background appears only in the conclusion and is not explained earlier. Your position is broadly understandable, but the final claim that society would have “neither any scientists” is too absolute. Develop each main idea with a clear explanation and a concrete example to make the response more complete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a basic paragraph structure, moving from an introduction to causes, effects, and a conclusion. This gives the reader some organisation, and phrases such as “In addition” and “As a result” attempt to connect ideas. However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear: the causes paragraph shifts from degree length to effort, job opportunities, and salary without clearly showing how these points relate. The effects paragraph repeats the idea of societal problems and scientists rather than developing a sequence. Some linking phrases are awkward or overused, and sentence boundaries are sometimes missing, as in “complete.it needs.” Group related points more carefully, use clear topic sentences, and make each paragraph advance one main idea.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “scientific degrees,” “job opportunities,” “high salary,” “shortage of scientists,” and “healthcare.” This shows an attempt to discuss the issue beyond very basic terms. However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make parts difficult to understand, including “techonological,” “poblems,” “eniroment,” and “sciencetists.” Some phrases are also imprecise or unnatural, such as “not too much individuals” and “more effort other field offer.” Aim for accurate collocations and a wider set of terms for causes and social consequences. Proofreading spelling and choosing precise expressions will make your meaning clearer and more convincing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a cause-and-effect structure with “As a result” and a conditional sentence beginning “if we could not give the opportunities.” However, the range remains limited, and complex attempts are often faulty. For example, “because of it takes muchh more time” does not form a correct clause, while “One of the major reason is that, it takes more time” has problems with agreement and clause punctuation. There are also run-on sentences and missing sentence boundaries, such as “complete.it needs,” which make relationships between ideas harder to follow. Practise building accurate sentences with because, although, and if, and check agreement, articles, and punctuation when editing.
