Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both parts of the question: you identify high university costs and outdated curricula as causes, then explain that society may have fewer science experts. The response also offers relevant remedies, such as scholarships and updating course content. These ideas are on topic, but some are less fully developed than others. For example, the point about medical-college donations is specific, yet you do not explain how outdated teaching discourages students beyond saying that subjects are tough. The societal effect is also stated mainly as a decline in experts, without showing what this means for areas such as healthcare, research, or technology. Develop each cause-and-effect link with a clear explanation or example to make the response more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, a paragraph on causes, one on effects and possible responses, and a conclusion. This makes the main line of argument easy to follow. You also use signposting such as “The main reason,” “Moreover,” and “In conclusion.” However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. “On the other side” does not accurately introduce a second cause, and “This result in building of science experts” has an unclear reference. The effects and recommendations are combined in one paragraph, which weakens the progression from explaining consequences to proposing solutions. Use more precise transitions and keep each paragraph focused on one stage of the argument.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “outdated curriculum,” “scholarships,” “stipends,” and “new technologies,” so the reader can understand the subject. However, the range is limited and several noticeable spelling, word-form, and collocation errors reduce precision. Examples include “bohr” for “bored,” “deplenition” for “depletion,” “scholorships,” and “rewising.” Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “the count of students” and “divert to other fields.” Aim to use accurate academic collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise wording would help distinguish the causes, such as tuition costs and outdated course content, from their consequences for scientific expertise.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a cause-and-effect construction with “resulting” and a sentence beginning “Adopting to new technologies.” The overall meaning is generally understandable, but some grammatical errors remain. For example, “the cost of education is very expensive” has an awkward grammatical construction; “the curriculum used at universities are outdated” has subject–verb disagreement; and “Encouragement from the government create interest” also needs agreement. Articles and sentence structure are sometimes inaccurate, as in “study in science.” Work on agreement, complete sentence patterns, and accurate clause connections. These improvements would make your ideas clearer while preserving the range of structures you are attempting.
