Give reasons for your answer and include relevant examples from your knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
In this evolving era, science has become major subject to study worldwide, but still learners don't have interest in science. Only few number of students are willing to be graduated in science globally. The main reasons of not choosing science are different intellegence level and having interest in practical fields like Arts; although, it has major impact on society such as not able to survive in modernized world and become less competitive across the globe.
Every individual has their own level of understanding and interests to study. There is no comparison between individuals on the basis of intellegence. Several students does not take admission in science subjects because they are not capable of learning such difficult courses just like computer science which requires coding and zoology which is study of animals. Moreover, students choose other courses according to their field of interest. For instance, in pakistan most of the students are comfortable to choose Art just becuase they like practical work and other people also have interest to see art or creativity.
Technology is continuously evolving, studing other subjects except science may have serious impacts not only on individual but also society. This is an era of Artificial Intellegence, students who will not study science won't meet the standards of modernization. In upcoming decade, their is only scope of AI everywhere, even not there are softwares which can make art just like humans, and no one even distinguish between AI and human art. Furthermore, without learning modern skill citizens of a nation can't represent thier country on internernational level. Consequently, instead of growing, they may experience downfall.
To conclude, interested field and level of understanding may different across individuals, and not adopting modern skill may become serious threat to society and cause downfall.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both parts of the question and give a clear overall view: students may avoid science because of perceived difficulty or different interests, while society may struggle to keep pace with technological change. The examples of computer science and zoology help illustrate the difficulty, and the discussion of AI gives the effects section a relevant focus. However, the causes are not fully explained: saying students have different “intellegence level” risks presenting ability as fixed, and the preference for art is asserted rather than explored. The societal effects also remain broad; explain more specifically how a shortage of science graduates could affect areas such as healthcare, research, or economic productivity. More developed cause-and-effect reasoning would make the response more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a coherent overall arrangement: an introduction, a paragraph on causes, a paragraph on effects, and a conclusion. This makes the main direction easy to follow, and linking expressions such as “Moreover,” “Furthermore,” and “Consequently” signal relationships between ideas. Some connections are less clear or feel mechanical, however. For example, the move from AI-generated art to citizens representing their country internationally is not fully explained, and “although” in the introduction does not clearly connect the two clauses. The conclusion repeats the main points but does not bring them together in a precise final insight. Clarify how each example supports the paragraph’s central claim and use referencing that makes links between ideas explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “computer science,” “coding,” “modernization,” and “Artificial Intelligence,” and you attempt some less common expressions such as “competitive across the globe.” This gives you enough range to discuss the topic, but inaccurate word choice, collocation, and spelling are noticeable and sometimes make meaning less natural. Examples include “different intellegence level,” “be graduated in science,” “study of animals,” and “scope of AI everywhere.” Several spellings, including “becuase,” “studing,” and “thier,” also need careful editing. Aim for precise, natural combinations such as “enrol in a science degree” and “demand for AI skills,” and avoid broad or awkward phrases when a specific term would express your point more clearly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “because,” “which,” and “although,” so the response shows some structural variety. However, errors in sentence construction and grammatical forms are frequent enough to affect clarity. For example, “Several students does not take admission” has a subject–verb agreement problem, while “students who will not study science won't meet” uses an awkward future construction for a general claim. In “even not there are softwares,” the word order makes the meaning difficult to follow, and “their is only scope” contains an incorrect form of “there.” Review agreement, articles, plural forms, and clause structure, then proofread each sentence to ensure that its subject and main verb are clear.
