Student answer (Band 5.0)
In many countries a numerous student they are not prefer study in science at university because so many way thing their mind that time, in this essay will describe all the concept why they are not choosing this subject.
The main reason is that fear of the extreme study in science because the students thought so many things about the since. Such as if they are choose science, it will be more complicated concept for them, thats why vast of students try to avoid this subject and choose the more easier for them. Another point is that, beginning of the fresher student in first semester they may not have enough large knowledge in this subject, as a result they are back step from this and chose another subject because of the lack of motivation.
Furthermore, another significant factor to consider is that students if they are not choose science, it can significant chance to face several obstacle in their academic life . For example, they would not get ability to build innovations in their thought because of without using science method. Fourthmore, the country government should try to encourage more their students choosing to study in science at university because they can not enhance their country without science students. If they are not cable to create enough science students, it will be cause for them because they cannot build any kind of sophisticated technology for their country development.
In conclusion, I firmly believe that if the countries not capable for generate more efficient science students they they cannot improve their educational system and would be face so many drawbacks.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both causes and effects, and the response stays focused on the issue. Fear that science is complicated and students’ limited prior knowledge are relevant causes; you also mention reduced innovation and difficulty developing technology as social effects. However, these ideas remain limited and are not clearly explained with specific examples. The discussion of effects is especially brief, and the claim that students will face obstacles in their academic life does not clearly explain the wider impact on society. Your position is present in the conclusion, but it is broad and partly shifts towards improving the education system. Develop each main point with a clear explanation and a relevant example to make the response more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has an introduction, separate body paragraphs and a conclusion, so the reader can identify its basic structure. You also use linking expressions such as “The main reason,” “Furthermore” and “In conclusion.” However, progression within and between ideas is not always clear. The second body paragraph moves from students’ academic obstacles to government encouragement and national technology without explaining the links between them. Some connectors are inaccurate or mechanical, including “Fourthmore,” and repeated references to “another” make the development feel list-like. Organise the causes and effects into clearly focused paragraphs, and use linking phrases only where they show a genuine relationship between ideas.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “innovations,” “motivation,” “sophisticated technology” and “country development,” which helps communicate the subject. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make meaning difficult to follow, as in “a numerous student,” “extreme study” and “build innovations in their thought.” There are also spelling and word-form problems, such as “since” for “science” and “cable” for “capable.” These errors sometimes obscure your intended meaning. Build a more accurate set of phrases for discussing university study and social consequences, and check that each word fits its context and grammatical form.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a conditional structure in “if they are choose science, it will be more complicated.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors in verb forms, agreement, articles and sentence construction can make the message difficult to understand. For example, “they are not prefer study” needs a correctly formed verb pattern, while “the countries not capable for generate” lacks a clear subject–verb structure. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with spaces before some full stops and long sentences that need clearer boundaries. Practise building accurate basic clauses first, then combine them using reliable forms such as “if + present simple, will + verb.”
