Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You identify the main overall change: the airport gains facilities and its capacity increases from eight to eighteen gates. You also mention the sky train and some changes in the departures and arrivals areas. However, the account is incomplete and includes important positional inaccuracies. The ATM is below the café on the upper-right wall of Arrivals, not between the café and car hire; car hire is in a new area on the far right, not the north-west. The café in Departures is not replaced by bag drop: bag drop is added on the west wall while a café remains in the bottom-left corner. The overview and comparisons need clearer, accurate coverage of the Y-shaped concourse and relocated check-in. The response is also four words below the required minimum.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a basic overall structure: an introduction, a brief overview, and details about the redevelopment. This gives the reader some sense of the topic, and phrases such as “On the other hand” attempt to connect points. However, progression is limited: the gate increase and sky train are repeated, while features from Departures and Arrivals are mixed together in a long, difficult-to-follow final sentence. The contrast marker “On the other hand” does not clearly signal the relationship between the information that follows. Organise the details by area or by comparing the two plans, and use separate sentences for each group of changes. Clearer referencing would also help readers understand which café or entrance is being discussed.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant task vocabulary, including “gates,” “sky train,” “bag drop,” “arrivals,” and “departures,” so the basic subject is recognisable. However, the range is limited and several spelling errors make key details harder to understand, such as “rebulding,” “featurse,” “haire,” and “tarin.” Some expressions are also imprecise or unnatural: “more additional features” is redundant, and “kept in north” does not clearly describe the ATM’s position. Use accurate map vocabulary such as “located,” “added,” “extended,” and “on the upper-right wall,” and check spelling carefully. More precise terms for the airport’s structural changes would help you describe the plans without relying on repeated general wording.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt a few different sentence forms, including an overview clause beginning “It is clearly seen that” and a contrast introduced by “On the other hand.” However, grammatical control is inconsistent, and several sentences are difficult to follow. For example, “the numbers of gates will be incrased for 8 to 18” has problems with number agreement and the preposition used for a change; “the cafe which is in the north east corner” also lacks clear sentence structure in its surrounding clause. The final sentence joins several separate details without clear grammatical links. Practise forming complete sentences with accurate articles, prepositions, and verb forms, and use full stops to separate locations and changes. This will make your comparisons easier to understand.
