Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response covers the main features of the airport plans, identifying the key changes such as the addition of gates and new facilities. However, the report is descriptive rather than analytical. It lacks a clear overview or summary of the most significant changes, which is a requirement for Band 6 and above. The description is somewhat repetitive and relies on a 'list-like' approach rather than grouping information logically. To improve, you should provide a concise summary paragraph highlighting the main trends, such as the expansion of capacity and the reconfiguration of passenger flow, rather than simply listing every individual feature in a sequential manner.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The response is organised into paragraphs, but the progression of ideas is mechanical. The use of cohesive devices is limited and often repetitive (e.g., 'then comes', 'after this', 'on the left side'). The referencing is sometimes unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the spatial layout of the airport. For example, phrases like 'in the front of the bag drop point' are slightly confusing. To reach a higher band, you should use a wider variety of linking words and transition phrases to connect ideas more fluidly and improve the logical flow between the current and future states of the airport.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is adequate for the task but remains quite basic and repetitive. You frequently use simple words like 'side', 'point', and 'terminal'. There is a lack of precise terminology related to airport infrastructure (e.g., 'concourse', 'terminal building', 'reconfiguration', 'expansion'). Furthermore, there are errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'round up of total eight gates' and 'walk in come with the nine gates access', which sound unnatural. Expanding your range of descriptive adjectives and nouns related to spatial planning would significantly improve your score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The response contains a mix of simple and some attempted complex sentences, but there are frequent grammatical errors. Issues include incorrect article usage ('The Plan show', 'the Airport'), subject-verb agreement ('The Plan show'), and awkward sentence construction ('the you see arrivals with two exit points'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with frequent misuse of commas and capitalization (e.g., 'A Atm'). While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of errors in basic structures prevents the response from reaching a higher band. Focusing on sentence structure and proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement will help.
