The plans below show the site of an airport now and how it will look after redevelopment next year.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
SOUTHWEST AIRPORT
Student answer (Band 6.0)
The diagram illustrates site of an airport in current time and how it will look in after construction in upcoming year.
Overall, there are multiple changing in upcoming year. After construction many shops and new gates will open in new airport.
In current time airport have 8 gates for entering southwest airport and too sort walkway. Also, have security passport control office and custom office near by each other. In gate of arrival have no shops in present time. In departure gate have cafe and check in area which locate in corner side if departure area.
After development, number of gate will increase in southwest airport. Walkway will change into sky train area. In free space they will develop shops. Passport security and custom control area same as in present time. Also departure and arrival area will same as current time. In departure will develop. In that area will have big drop area in front of check in area. In addition they will have cafe area just near departure gate. In arrival gate will construct cafe area, Atm, and car hire area.
