IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The plans below show the site of an airport now and how it will look after redevelopment next year.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
SOUTHWEST AIRPORT
Student answer (Band 5.0)
In these passages we are discussing about the plans of the site of an Southwest airport now and how it will look after redevelopment next year. Now the airports have basic facilities like Check in, Cafe , Walkway and just 8 gates which are very beneficial for people but still which is not enough nowadays.
So they are planning to add more facilities like bag drop system, ATM which is a essential need of tourists and most of the travellers who cannot carry a lot of cash with them, A sky train system, Car hire system for people which can save their time and on last and the most important change in my opinion is increasing the number of gates now they have just 8 gates but after the redevelopment they will have 18 gates which is a good way to manage and control crowd.
They are also planning to add some shops in the opposite side of the security and passport control, They are also planning to increase the area for gates and car hire program.
In conclusion, The airport management team is going to upgrade their airport. According to me which have many advantages for people and also for team members.
