Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response covers the main features of the airport redevelopment, such as the increase in gates and the addition of new facilities. However, the description is somewhat disjointed and lacks a clear overview or summary of the most significant changes. While you identify specific shifts, such as the relocation of the check-in and the addition of the sky train, the report would benefit from a more structured approach that groups information logically (e.g., departures vs. arrivals). Some details, like the 'Y shape track', are described in a way that is difficult to follow without clear reference to the visual data.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The response is organised into paragraphs, but the logical flow between sentences is often weak. The use of cohesive devices is limited and sometimes mechanical, such as the repetitive use of 'Before' and 'After'. Referencing is occasionally unclear, making it difficult for the reader to track the changes being described. For example, the transition between the description of the gates and the walkway is abrupt. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear thematic focus would significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks precision and variety. There are several spelling errors, such as 'occured', 'Depatures', 'survice', and 'develpoment', which detract from the overall quality. You rely on basic descriptors like 'significant change' and 'major change' rather than using more precise terminology related to spatial changes or architectural developments. To improve, focus on using more specific verbs and nouns related to maps and diagrams, such as 'relocated', 'expanded', 'transformed', or 'integrated'.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Issues include incorrect article usage ('a Check-in location', 'a Bag Drop'), subject-verb agreement errors ('a CAfe were shifted'), and awkward phrasing ('changing regarding entrance and Departure door made from single door to two door'). While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar and punctuation prevents the response from reaching a higher band. Focus on proofreading for subject-verb agreement and consistent tense usage.
