IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The plans below show the site of an airport now and how it will look after redevelopment next year.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
SOUTHWEST AIRPORT
Student answer (Band 5.5)
The diagram depecits the information about airport look today and in future ,including the changes in map with time.
It is crystal clear that after development number of gales will be increased and some new facilities will add on.
At a fleeting glance , there are exactly eight gales now but after develpoment these will be convert into eighteen. The security , passport control and customs will be remained at same place after changes. The position of check-in goes to opposite direction at same departures area whereas bag drop area will add new at the place of check in. Similary, cafe will tranfer into opposite derection and it will suited at starting of near deparures.
Moving head, arrivals has no facilities available now but according to plan in future new addition of ATM , cafe and car hire . Additionally, new shops will be constructed on the above area of departures. Here, no place for walkway in future it turns into sky train.
