The plans below show the site of an airport now and how it will look after redevelopment next year.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
SOUTHWEST AIRPORT
Student answer (Band 6.0)
The given image provides a comparative data between two different plans of Southwest Airport about what facilities it is equiped with in present, and how would it look after development.
It is very evident that on the south direction, there are two gateways for arrival and departure, followed by the passport control customs and security passport control. Furthermore, both rooms join into walk ways, ending up in eight gates where they can board the plane. Additionally, there are check-in counter and cafe present for the convenience of passengers.
On the other hand, there are several major changes can be observed in the plan designed for the after development. Now there are eighteen gates insted of eight gates on the previous plan, and walkway has been relpaced by the sky trains. Moreover, several other facilities such as, ATM machine, bag drop area, car hire facilities, and another cafe on the arrivals side has been developed for serving customers.
Therefore, it can be concluded that, the advancements and the facilities introduced after the development will significantly beneficial to the customers, and will contribute for making there travel experience memorable.
