The plans below show the site of an airport now and how it will look after redevelopment next year.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The plans below illustrate the site of an airport in present and further how it will look after the redevelopment in upcoming year.

Overall, the plans shows that the airport before had less facilities as compared to after development. it also increased in size and in length as well. they also added basic facilities that are useful in a modern airport.

First of all, in the present the gates were very less upto 8 gates and the people used to walk to enter the airport. however the cafe is near the security passport control and while the check in counter is on the opposite side of the cafe in addition, there is only one gate for the departures and arrivals and also no car hire.

On the other hand, after the development they increased the number of gates upto 18 gates and also facilities with sky train. And they changed the locations of the cafe and also add extra cafe near to customs. Moreover, car hire and ATM was added to the airport facilities.
