The illustration give information future plan of rennovation of an airport next year. Overall, after redevelopment there will be much more facilities for paasengers as compared to today.

It is quite evident from first map that nowadays airport has very fewer facilitites. It is noticed that security passport control had check-in, cafe and there is a gate for departures. In contrast, passport control customs did not have any facility but there is a gate for arrivals. Walkway section have eight gates which covers all front sides of the walkway. These gates are very helpful to avoid long queue.

Meanwhile, after redevelopment much more facilities are constructed including bag drop section, check-in, cafe and two gates for departures in the security passport control setion. Another facilities in the passport control customes which are cafe, ATM, car hire and two gates for arrivals. Walkway converted into sky train and add 18 gates for the ease of the passengers. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The student attempts to summarise the changes shown in the airport plans, mentioning the addition of facilities like the bag drop, sky train, shops, and an increased number of gates. However, the response suffers from significant inaccuracies in reporting the visual data. For instance, the student states that the current airport has 'very fewer facilitites' and misunderstands the layout of the terminal, claiming that security and passport control contain check-in and cafes in the current plan. Furthermore, the overview is extremely brief ('there will be much more facilities for paasengers as compared to today'), lacking a comprehensive summary of the main trends. While the general transformation is acknowledged, the specific details are often confused or incorrectly located. This places the response in Band 5.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The text is organised into four paragraphs, including a brief introduction, two body paragraphs describing the 'now' and 'after' maps, and a concluding body paragraph. However, logical progression is weak, and cohesive devices are frequently mechanical, inaccurate, or missing. For example, transitions like 'Meanwhile' and 'It is quite evident from first map' feel unnatural and fail to establish clear relationships between ideas. Referencing is also problematic, as seen in vague phrases like 'Another facilities in the passport control customes'. Paragraphing is attempted, but internal cohesion within the body paragraphs lacks smooth transitions, making the text difficult to follow at times.

Lexical Resource — Band 4.5

The student demonstrates a limited range of vocabulary with frequent errors in word choice, spelling, and collocation. Examples of non-standard usage include 'rennovation' (renovation), 'paasengers' (passengers), 'facilitites' (facilities), and 'customes' (customs). Attempts to use less common vocabulary are largely unsuccessful or grammatically flawed, such as 'Walkway section have eight gates' or 'Shops sections will be add after rennovation'. The vocabulary is repetitive, relying heavily on basic terms like 'facilities', 'gates', and 'cafe', which restricts the range to a level that occasionally impedes communication.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5

Grammatical control is weak throughout the response, featuring a heavy burden of basic errors. There are frequent issues with subject-verb agreement ('The illustration give', 'Walkway section have'), incorrect prepositions ('from first map'), and tense confusion (mixing present and past descriptions inconsistently, such as 'is noticed that security passport control had check-in'). Simple sentence structures dominate, and attempts at more complex constructions result in severe structural errors, such as 'Another facilities in the passport control customes which are cafe, ATM, car hire and two gates for arrivals'. Punctuation is also sparse and sometimes faulty.
