The plans below show the site of an airport now and how it will look after redevelopment next year.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
SOUTHWEST AIRPORT
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The given diagram illustrates the model of and airport in two different time spans. Which clearly shows that after the remoduling the airport size will been increased along with facilities.
In the first blueprint, which is named as "NOW" the size of airport is small and have less number of facilities as compared to the updated proposed plan. It has eight gates to enter in the airport premises innsection through walkway. The sign board "C" represents Check-in section. In rthe depature area it has a cafeteria. While arrival section is vacant for the efficient movement of the passengers.
The second blueprint represents updated plan for the airports which will be bigger in size then the existing airport. It will contain eighteen gates and a sky train fro the movement of the passengers. It will have ATM machine along with different facilites like bag drop area, cafe and car hire. it will have much more space then the current one.
