The plans below show the site of an airport now and how it will look after redevelopment next year.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
SOUTHWEST AIRPORT
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The maps illustrate the changes that took place in SouthWest Airport between now and next year.
Overall, the area underwent several significant changes, including the addition of bag drop, ATM, sky train, and car hire and the removal of walkway area.In present year, cafe was located in departure area on the left corner while in coming year cafe was located in same are but in opposite direction. After development, ATM, cafe, and care hire had been added. After deveploment, shops would also added, moreover, there would be increased in doors of departure and arrivals area. The number if gates would also be increased in development. Now number of gates are only 1 to 8 while they increased up to 1 to 18 gates in deveploment of new Airpot.
There are walkaway system in present airport but this system would be placed into sky train that are very helpful for peoples.
In conculsion, upcoming airport would provide many facilities to people as compared to present airport.
