The plans below show the site of an airport now and how it will look after redevelopment next year.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
SOUTHWEST AIRPORT
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The scheme illustrates the structure of an airport present and how it will distinguish after re-construction in coming year
The Southwest Airport will have double their doors having Y shape after redevelopment. Security passport control and passport control customs remain same after renovation. After regeneration departures and arrivals construct new shops and various things.
At present, the Southwest Airport has eight doors for walkway. Then secuity passport control place at West side and passport control customs at East side.At west side, individuals can enter from departure, people can check-in on the ledt side and there is a cafe on right side. At West side, people can enter to arrivals area but there are no shops or other things in it.
The map of the Airport after the development includes 18 gates which have structure of Y shape. After that, there are shops oat West. Security passport control and passport control customs remain same compared with present structure. After entering departures, citizens see a cafe in left and bag drop beside it. Infront of bag drop, people can check-in. And after entering arrivals, on right side, there is a car hire and ATM machine and a cafe.
