The plans below show the site of an airport now and how it will look after redevelopment next year.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
SOUTHWEST AIRPORT
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The diagrams below illustrates the map of southwest airport in present days additionaly, how it will seem after constructing various new things in the upcoming year.
Overall, the air terminal is going to create significant redevelopment, with many original features that are currently in airport being change or replaced.
In present, the infrastructure of the airfield is quite ordinary. However, there are 8 gates for the entrance in present era although, two walkaways for the individuals to go towards the flight is also appear among the gates. Furthermore, one side is for the departure and there is a cafe also for the refreshment. There is ofcourse check in counter also in departure area.
In Future, the airport will be undergone with numerous technological developments. Firstly, the gates will be faced a remarkable increase of 10 and will stand at 18 from 8. Moreover, the new feature of Sky train will be added. Since there will no any massive transformation in Departure area, Only the facility of bag drop will be added. While, at arrivals there will a new feature of Car hire as well as ATM establishment for the ease of people.
