The plans below show the site of an airport now and how it will look after redevelopment next year.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
SOUTHWEST AIRPORT
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The maps illustrates the site of an airport today and how it look in the future after reconstruction next year.
Overall, the airports now and next year underwent several significant changes. Several facilites will be add, several placed will expanding and relocated. While, security passport control,passport control costums, departures and arrivals remain unchanged.
Before redevelopment, on departures area there are two furnitures, Check in place located on the west and cafe was located in east side. On arrival section, there is only passport control costumes. The gates consits of eight gates and following by walkway.
Following redelopment, there will be new furnitures in departures site. Bag drop will built in west side on previos place of Check in, where check in will be relocated to the east side and coffe will relocated as well near the departure gate on the left corner. shops will be construct between security passport control and gate section. In addition arrivals site will be manufactured three new features, namely, car hire will be located on the right of the arrivals gate. Cafe will be place on the right corner before passport control customs. Moreover, ATM will be placed between cafe and car hire. Gates will be improve becaome 18 gates and railway will be replace by sky train. However, security passport control, passport control costums, departures and arrivals remain unchanged.
