Moving forward with the redevelopment plan which will make a huge difference in providing facilities. Furthermore, the benefits which will be given are two gates each for the arrival and departure, there will be two cafe, a seperate bag drop counter, an ATM machine, a car hire department near the arrival gate, a skytrain to travel inside the airport and mainly 18 gates for higher accomodation.
Overall, the redevelopment plan will be providing increased number of facilities in compared to current airport.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The student attempts to summarise the main features of the maps, but the response falls short of fully and accurately reporting the data. The overview is rudimentary ('the redevelopment plan will be providing increased number of facilities in compared to current airport'). Furthermore, there are significant misinterpretations of the visual data: the student describes the current airport as having 'one gate each for the departure and arrival' and 'one room for the security passport control', whereas the plan clearly shows 8 gates and standard security/passport areas. While the student identifies some changes such as the addition of a skytrain, car hire, and an increased number of gates, the overall task completion is hampered by inaccuracies and a lack of well-developed comparisons. This corresponds to Band 5.0.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The text is divided into three brief paragraphs (introduction, body, and conclusion), which provides a basic structural framework. However, logical progression is weak. The second paragraph groups a dense list of disparate facilities together without clear grouping or logical sequencing (moving randomly between check-in, cafés, bag drop, ATM, car hire, and gates). Cohesive devices are either missing, mechanical, or awkwardly used, such as 'Moving forward with the redevelopment plan which will make a huge difference...' and 'Furthermore, the benefits which will be given are...'. Paragraphing is underutilised, leading to a cramped and disorganised body paragraph. This performance aligns with Band 5.0.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is quite limited and repetitive. The student relies on basic terms such as 'facilities', 'cafe', 'gates', and 'airport'. There are several spelling and word-choice errors, including 'souhtwest' instead of 'southwest', 'chech-in' instead of 'check-in', 'seperate' instead of 'separate', and 'accomodation' instead of 'accommodation'. Collocations are occasionally unnatural, such as 'gates for higher accomodation'. While the range is minimally adequate to convey the basic subject matter, the frequency of errors and lack of sophisticated phrasing place this at Band 5.0.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response features a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but control over grammar is weak. There are several noticeable grammatical errors, such as subject-verb agreement issues ('the current southwest airport have minimal facilities') and sentence fragments or incomplete clauses ('Moving forward with the redevelopment plan which will make a huge difference in providing facilities'). Punctuation and phrasing are frequently clumsy, which causes some difficulty for the reader and prevents the response from achieving a higher band. These frequent errors across complex structures typify Band 5.0.
