IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The plans below show the site of an airport now and how it will look after redevelopment next year.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

SOUTHWEST AIRPORT

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The map images, delinates a comparitive analysis of South West Airport now and how it will recreate it looks after redevelopment next year.

Overall, it is clear that the major development change is in gates of the Airport, Before reconstrucuted, airport has 8 gates, but now it has 18 gates as well as Walking area converted to Sky train. Security, Both Passport Control, and Customs remains unchanged. While Shops were developed in front side of security. Cafe changes it location from North-west corner to South-East corner of Departures and Another Cafe was build in Arrivals. Check in were installed on Cafe's previous location.

Atm machine is installed in the South Corner of Arrivals while Car hire in tha path to arrivals.

Furthermore, at last Bag drop were constructed in front of Departures Check-in.

After Development of the South West Airport the major change is in the gates of the Airport and Sky train. In addition, some facilities were built for the use of customer's and travellers.
