Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You identify several relevant changes, including the movement of check-in, the addition of car hire, and the increase from 8 to 18 gates. However, the response only partially summarises the plans: it gives little account of the major Y-shaped concourse extension or the central sky train, and the overview that the airport will be “more spacious” is not clearly supported or explained. Some locations are also misreported: the ATM is in Arrivals, not beside check-in, and the café in Departures is in the bottom-left corner rather than above security. To improve, give a clear overview of the main structural changes, then accurately compare the key facilities and their positions.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
There is some organisation: the response moves from the present layout to the redevelopment and uses phrases such as “By the right hand side” and “after development” to signal comparisons. However, the progression is difficult to follow because the ideas are packed into one paragraph and the comparison markers are repeated or used awkwardly. The sentence beginning “From the present…” trails off at “while,” then the next paragraph-like section starts with “by the after development,” leaving the relationship between details unclear. Group the present features together, follow with the future layout, and finish with a concise overview. Use clear linking phrases such as “In contrast” and “Additionally” only where they show a genuine relationship.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
Your vocabulary is sufficient to name some airport facilities, including “check-in,” “bag drop,” “café,” “ATM,” and “gates.” However, the range is limited, and several spelling and word-choice errors make parts of the description harder to understand: “developement,” “controle,” “aproسمately” (intended as “approximately”), and “specious” (apparently intended as “spacious”). Phrases such as “very small in numbers” and “towards the end” are imprecise for describing a plan. Use accurate location language and standard spellings, and choose terms that describe the changes precisely, such as “expanded concourse” or “additional gates.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The response attempts some longer structures, but sentence patterns are limited and errors are frequent enough to make relationships between features unclear. For example, “the check-in is located toward's the left end, followed wiht the cafe above the security passport control” has faulty construction, while “the gates is aprosmately 18 in numbers” has subject–verb disagreement and an unnatural plural structure. Tense and sentence boundaries are also inconsistent, as in “From the present … while / by the after development.” Practise complete comparative sentences using accurate present and future forms, for example, “The current terminal has eight gates, whereas the redeveloped concourse will have eighteen.” Check agreement, articles, and punctuation when editing.
