Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You identify the main transformation: the gate area expands from 8 to 18 gates, and you mention several new facilities, including shops, a sky train, an ATM and car hire. This gives the response relevant coverage of both plans. However, some important changes are unclear or inaccurately described. For example, “Major items have changed” does not specify what changed, and the claim that the arrivals section “expanded significantly” is not supported by the plan. The comparison of the former walkway with the sky train is also difficult to interpret. To strengthen the summary, give a clear overview of the enlarged Y-shaped concourse and describe the changes to departures and arrivals precisely, including the relocated check-in and added facilities.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has an opening, an attempted overview and further detail, and it uses sequencing phrases such as “At the outset” and “Following this.” These provide some organisation. However, progression is difficult to follow because several ideas are placed together without clear relationships, as in “there was nothing.Developed In past,” and the final paragraph moves abruptly from the former walkway to arrivals. Some linking expressions are inaccurate or mechanical, while references such as “former industrial area” do not clearly identify a feature in the plans. Use separate, purposeful paragraphs for the overview, departures and arrivals/concourse, and connect each comparison explicitly to the relevant area.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt task-related vocabulary, including “facilities,” “gates,” “passport control,” “walkway” and “sky train,” and you try to describe change with phrases such as “extended considerably.” However, spelling errors and imprecise word choices sometimes make the meaning hard to follow: “instralled,” “facilitiy,” “shpoes” and “cutrrent” are examples. Phrases such as “rapid growth” and “former industrial area” are not appropriate descriptions of the airport plan. Build a reliable set of terms for locations and changes, and check spelling carefully. Prefer precise expressions such as “the concourse was extended,” “shops were added” and “the check-in counter was relocated.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

There are attempts at complex sentences, including “which are replaced by 8 gates” and “In contrast,” but control is inconsistent, and errors can make relationships unclear. For example, “which has modified” needs a passive form, while “both … areas … are remained” uses an incorrect verb construction. The sentence beginning “In past there were check-in cafe” also has problems with articles and number, and several sentences lack clear punctuation or complete structure. Practise accurate past and present passive forms for describing plans, such as “was replaced by” and “will be added,” alongside clear simple comparisons. More reliable sentence boundaries would also help the reader follow your meaning.
