Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You make a relevant comparison between the airport now and after redevelopment, noting that the later plan adds facilities such as an ATM, café and bag drop, and that the airport area is expanded. These points show some understanding of the visual. However, the response only partially reports the main changes and includes inaccurate or unsupported details: the plans do not show lifts, parking, or a general lack of arrival facilities. The most important features—the Y-shaped concourse, increase from 8 to 18 gates, central sky train, and relocation of check-in—are omitted. The overview is also unclear, so the reader cannot readily identify the main transformation. Focus on the major structural changes and describe locations accurately.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

The response attempts to compare the two stages, using phrases such as “the first picture” and “on the other hand,” and it ends with a general statement about more facilities being available. However, ideas are not arranged into a clear progression: observations about access, airport size, arrival facilities and departures are mixed together without distinct grouping. Several references, including “this source” and “it,” are unclear, making it difficult to follow what is being discussed. The repeated use of “the picture shows” also makes the linking mechanical. Organise the report into a brief overview followed by separate descriptions of the current and planned layouts, and use precise references to areas and features.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some task-related vocabulary, including “development,” “check-in,” “bag drop,” “cafe” and “ATM,” which helps communicate the general subject. However, the range is limited and several choices or forms are inaccurate, sometimes making meaning difficult to interpret. For example, “passanger,” “flour,” “faclity” and “avilable” contain spelling errors, while “source for them of lifts” does not express the intended idea clearly. “Passage control custom” is also an inaccurate description of the labelled passport control and customs area. Build a more precise map vocabulary, such as “concourse,” “gate,” “terminal,” “relocated” and “extended,” and check spelling and collocations.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt to connect ideas with clauses, as in “But this area can increase in second picture” and “So after development more facilites are avialable on airport.” However, sentence structures are limited, and errors in articles, verb forms, agreement and sentence construction occur frequently. For example, “Here in the figure shows” lacks a clear grammatical subject, while “the passanger have two walk” has problems with both agreement and the verb pattern. “There is not source for them of lifts” is also difficult to understand because the clause is not formed correctly. Use straightforward, complete sentences first, with accurate articles and plural forms, then add a few controlled comparisons using “whereas” or “while.”
