Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You identify the broad purpose of the plans and note the main overall change: the airport gains facilities and more gates. However, the response only partially reports the visual information, and some details are inaccurate or unclear. For example, the current layout has eight gates, not “eight doors,” and the future plan expands this to 18 gates. You mention the café, ATM, car hire and sky train, but do not explain key changes such as the Y-shaped concourse, shops, bag drop, or the relocation of check-in. The opening also introduces an opinion about development’s role in a country, which is not required. Focus on a factual overview and select the most important changes to describe precisely.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has an identifiable opening, an overview, and two body paragraphs, and phrases such as “Overall” and “secondly” show an attempt to guide the reader. However, progression is not consistently clear: the first paragraph refers to “two graphs” rather than the two plans, and the body paragraphs mix locations, facilities, and opinions without a clear route through the map. Some linking expressions, including “To began at comperhensive talk both sides,” do not make the relationship between ideas clear. Organise the report by comparing the current and future layouts, or by describing the terminal and concourse in each stage. Use simple, accurate transitions and refer clearly to each area.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You attempt relevant topic vocabulary, including “ATM,” “gates,” “check-in,” “café,” and “sky trains,” so the reader can recognise some airport features. However, the range is limited and repeated use of general words such as “airport,” “facilities,” and “many” makes the description imprecise. Several spelling and word-choice errors also strain understanding, including “littel,” “facilitate,” “shopes,” and “authories administration.” Some phrases are not natural for describing a plan, such as “at this movement” and “eight doors.” Build a bank of accurate location and change vocabulary, such as “is situated,” “is relocated,” “is extended,” and “accommodates,” and check spelling before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
There are attempts to form longer sentences and compare the two stages, but sentence structures are limited and errors are frequent enough to make several points difficult to follow. For example, “the development play an crucial role” has problems with subject–verb agreement and the article, while “after development airport have many facilities” lacks a clear grammatical structure. Tense and sentence boundaries are also inconsistent, as in “the Now Airport is accounting facilities and is much small to entry the airport.” Use present simple for the current plan and future forms for the proposed changes. Practise building clear sentences with a subject and verb, and use full stops to separate distinct observations.
