Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You identify the main direction of change: the airport is expanded, the gate area becomes Y-shaped, and facilities such as bag drop, an ATM and car hire are added. These are relevant features, and the comparison with the current layout gives the response a clear basis. However, several details are inaccurate or unclear: the shops are not in the departures area, but along the wall between departures and the concourse; the sky train replaces neither the walkway nor the whole walkway system in a clearly stated way; and “two gates” appears to confuse the terminal’s entrance doors with gates. The claim that “all other things remain same” also overlooks changes such as the relocated check-in and added cafés. Develop the overview and describe the main layout changes more precisely.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has an opening, an overview beginning with “Overall,” and a further paragraph describing future changes, so there is some organisation. However, the progression is limited because the final paragraph repeats points already made, including the added facilities and the sky train. Linking phrases such as “also,” “Moreover,” and “and” are used repeatedly, sometimes joining several different ideas in one long sentence. This makes relationships between locations and changes difficult to follow. Group information more clearly—for example, describe the expanded concourse and gates together, then explain changes inside departures and arrivals. Use precise references such as “in the arrivals area” rather than broad phrases like “into the airport site.”

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant map vocabulary, including “bag drop,” “check-in,” “ATM,” “car hire,” “gates,” and “Y-shape,” which helps communicate the subject. However, the range is limited and several phrases are repeated, especially “a lot of facilities” and “in future.” Some word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unclear, such as “the main change in facilitie is from walkway is development into a sky train” and “two gates for that.” Spelling and word-form errors, including “extened,” “sturture,” and “facilitie,” also reduce precision. Build a more varied set of terms for describing location and change, such as “is relocated,” “is added,” “extends,” and “along the eastern side,” and check spelling carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The response attempts longer sentences and uses future forms to describe the planned redevelopment, but control is inconsistent. Errors in agreement and verb forms appear in “The map plans shows” and “a car hire will added”; the latter needs an auxiliary construction such as “will be added.” Articles and sentence structure are also problematic in “there will be a a lot of facilities” and “only the check-in facilities have there.” The final paragraph contains several clauses joined by semicolons and conjunctions without clear grammatical relationships, making some meaning difficult to follow. Practise accurate simple comparisons and future passive forms, then combine ideas using controlled clauses. Careful proofreading for repeated words, punctuation and complete sentence structure would improve clarity.
