You are planning a business trip to another city. You will have some free time to do some sightseeing while you are there.
 

Write a letter to a friend who lives in the city you will visit. In your letter:
• explain the purpose of the trip.
• ask about things to do and see in the city.
• invite your friend to do something with you during your visit.

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sam,

I hope you are doing well. I am writing to inform you that I am planning to visit your city next month. My company is sending me there to attend a three-day professional conference and meet some important clients.

Although my schedule will be quite busy, I will have some free time in the evenings and during the weekend. Since you have lived there for several years, I would really appreciate your suggestions about the best places to visit. Could you please tell me about any famous tourist attractions, beautiful parks and interesting local restaurants? I would also like to experience something that is popular among local people.

I would be very happy if we could spend some quality time together during my visit. If you have a free time then we could have dinner at a nice restaurant or go to sightseeing together over the weekend. You know, it has been long time we haven't meet.
